continuing inktober, a little late

the jester was an obvious choice - there wasn’t a single chance I’d draw anyone else. the dress was pretty straightforward too...

but as for rivalry… only some indirect consequences of palace intrigues can be seen. I thought for a long time about what to weave in here, but in the end I didn’t manage to develop any complex idea

wizard, wound, flowers

long live my English, without a single doubt I read wound as wonder, and only after finishing the art did it dawn on me that something was off. how fortunate that, inspired by all those scarred heroes, I went ahead and slashed up this wizard’s face (a bit of Ged, a bit of Fitz, and suddenly Clegane - everything we read and watch finds its way in) it turned out rather conveniently that now there are both wonders and old wounds

hooray, I made it in time! here’s the last drawing, so sweetly opening the door to the guillotine for us. it was a good challenge, and this year, I think for the first time, I barely managed to finish everything on time
