DB fandom: Krillin is getting old. The series need to retire him.
*Looks at Roshi & how fans were excited to see the old man return to fighting.*
Me: ... If we can have a far weaker old man like Roshi still help out every now and again, a stronger and younger "old man" like Krillin doesn't have to retire. He just moves into the position of "badass old master." And since he's a police officer, he can kinda be like Commissioner Gordon; an old badass cop who's still doing his best to clean his city up.
This fandom loves the idea of an old master. Just do that with Krillin. Ppl want to retire him because they don't recognize the value of the character. A master can help in different ways. A master can defeat a stronger opponent due to their wisdom. And Krillin has been punching far above his weight class countless times as he uses wisdom, skill, and strategy to defeated and elude opponents. In a way, he's already the old badass master, but he just has a baby-face.

“Simple Fix” by Aimee Mann
Here we go again, around and round Here we go again, around and round We're babies passing for adults Who've loaded up their catapults And can't believe the end results So here we go again
Here we go again, it's obvious Here we go again, the two of us We've just become our worst mistakes The rattles of two rattlesnakes The antidote that no one takes So here we go again
I used to listen to a lot of Aimee Mann and I always found her voice soothing yet haunting at times. I particularly like her very subtle wordplay and her entire relationship with language - as if she’s exploring the possibilities of words for the first time. That said, this album is a lot like the rest of her work, and that’s a really good thing.
Thanks for the recommendation @womaninterrupted
so let's call a spade a spade // i'm going nowhere.
