Fifth Project - Simple Knit Hat

Hooray!  I've finally finished this!  A very belated Mother's Day gift for my Mom, I knitted this beauty up.  I've included two pictures, the first showing the extended ribbed stitching and the second picture showing it folded up for extra warmth for her ears.

WHAT I USED

I used 4.5 mm circular metal needles, stitch markers and a grey 100% Acrylic yarn from Red Heart Soft yarn.

I used this pattern for the hat: Simple Knit Hat.

Third Project - Simple Knit Hat

This third project I started, a simple knit hat.  I made this one for my Dad in his Rugby colours, Gold and Black.  Go Wasps!  He loves it and let me just say, I am so happy he does because this took me a couple of months to knit.  I kept mucking it up and had to go back to the yarn shop for help.  I mucked it up so much I put it aside and didn't look at it for three weeks.  I waited for my next bit of knitting lessons to get it fixed.  Which I did.  I had to rip out a few rows though and re-do my stitch markers. /o\

There may have been a dance of victory when I finished it in class.  lol

WHAT I USED

I used 4.5mm circular needles, stitch markers and Berroco yarn.  I wished I could remember what kind of Berroco yarn and the colours, but I can't find the labels.  I think it was a vintage kind of yarn.
