Green Cloth / Towel

Time: About 120 minutes or 2 hours.

(beginners should expect it to take longer)

Material used: Cotton, 3 1/2 needles. (I like my cleaning towels loose, size 2 1/2 or 3 needles will make them tighter.)

Pattern:

Cast on an uneven number, this one is 41 stitches.

Knit 6-7 rows.

Knit 4, then purl, X *[knit, purl, knit], purl, knit last 4.

Do this for about 45 rows.

Knit 6x7 last rows.

Finish off and weave in ends.

Third cast on with stash yarn for a simple rib hat. I always cast on fewer stitches than called for and always use a smaller needle. This is the first time the hat seems too small. But, I'm pretty sure 3rd is the charm. This one feels just right. Thinking about embellishing.
