I am pretty sure the most appreciated offering, that has gone over VERY well with multiple spirits*, has been . . . bread and butter. Freshly baked bread, still warm, is, of course, The Best way to serve bread and butter, but other bread goes over real well, too. And it's been a hit with several of Them.
I've had People more or less make puppy-dog eyes at me, out of the blue, *hint hint* "some bread AND BUTTER would be really really good!" O_________O "It would be really really good you'll fix some, right? Right?????"
(Bread and honey is a regular offering I make to several of Them; some get plain bread 'cause They don't want the honey.)
*(well, okay; that one time Loki about exploded from happiness over part of a peanut butter cookie outdoes the bread-and-butter BUT I think He was even more excited about fresh bread, with butter, at least once, and He's pretty fond of it in general)
