These Cinnamon Sugar Palmiers are a delightful and easy-to-make puff pastry treat. With just three simple ingredients, you can create crispy, sweet, and cinnamon-spiced palmiers that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 sheet puff pastry thawed. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Lay out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Evenly sprinkle about half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the puff pastry. Fold both sides of the puff pastry sheet towards the center, so they meet in the middle. Sprinkle some more cinnamon-sugar mixture over the folded puff pastry. Fold the puff pastry in half, with one folded side on top of the other, like closing a book. Gently press down to seal the layers together. Slice the folded puff pastry into 1/2-inch wide strips. Place the strips on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the palmiers are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, the cinnamon sugar palmiers are ready to enjoy!
