When Insecurity Comes Out To Play. . .
I swear I’m the ugly friend. Nd I say ugly in a relative sense. Meaning all of my friends are so ridiculously beautiful that my prettiness is relegated to simply okay, plain jane, that-girl-who-looks-like-she’s-13 type of plainness. Every time I start to feel some type of beauty about myself, a picture of any one of my friends pops up on my News Feed or Dashboard or my Instagram feed nd I try so hard not to compare myself to them but it’s hard not to when I’m so fucking plain.
Today, the minutes seem like hours, the hours go so slowly. . .
I know today's my birthday nd all but tomorrow's the day I'm looking forward to. I get to hang out with friend nd have a super fun photo shoot, nd go grocery shopping with Richie for a picnic I'm planning for my mom . Nd who knows, maybe I'll be able to buy a new glass piece nd a bottle of Moscato..or whatever fits my fancy at that moment. *shrug* We'll see. Everyone's surprised that I'm not going out to drink myself drunk tonight, ya know, since that's the 'thing' to do. Meh, drinking's never really been that big of a thing to me. I dunno, 've always had a European ideal about it. *shrug* I am, however, excited to play drunk Cards Against Humanity with a few friends soon. Love love that game ^_^ Anyway, time to finish sautéing some ground chuck for tomorrow's lunch! 've got a few surprises for Ricky nd lunch is one of them! =) Still actually deciding what I wanna make since I've got enough meat to make 1 of 3 things. Hmmm.. Oh! btw, VS is having a 4/$28 sale on panties. Nd since my boobs couldn't possibly fit their bras, the panty sale is something I always try nd take advantage of. Usually it's 7/$26 but I'll take the current deal too. =P
