HOPEFULLY my 50mm 1.4 lens is coming tomorrow or the next day, it's been 20 days since I ordered it from Simply Electronics. I really should've researched them before I ordered from them, I mean they only actually dispatched it 4 days ago, its ridiculous. You really should read up on places before you buy from them...
They have a history of not sending your purchases out, not refunding when orders cancelled, items being received by customers but then not working, items being counterfeit. The Hong Kong police have been informed and are involved.
Do not buy from these people. You may or may not get your order and if you do, it may or may not be what you ordered and it may or may not work.
One thing is for sure - you will have to fight to get your money back.
Fuck Ebay, and Fuck SimplyElectronics. Way to get Money back?
So I fucked up AGAIN on ordering my stick. I basically ordered from a scam website where they hire people to leave positive reviews so they can be seen as "trusted", and I managed to cancel it before it process through my credit card. Now I looked at the same stick, a Qanba Q4, for cheaper on ebay. And of course I bought it. this was a month ago. Now I get an email saying that they found "watermarks" among the the box of the stick, and they had to return it back, and another email following up that I'll have to wait for another month cuz they need to restock. I noticed the username was the same as the website. "SimplyElectronics USA" Now im pissed, my $180 is gone just like that. So i am mad salty right now. If anybody knows if I can be able to cancel the order since it hasnt shipped, please message me? Tell me if it'll cancel my purchase?
Deliveries....
So all of my awaited deliveries have arrived today, well kind of...
First the Royal Mail man but i kind of missed him; i was a sleep when he knocked (he clearly didn't knock very loud as the dog didn't bark) but i heard him put the little leaflet through as the knock had woken me up but i didn't realise it was a knock. so he has my lens baby need to pop down the post office in a few hours.
And then some dude knocked, no idea what company but heyy he had my slider so i consider him to be cool and he was friendly even if did answer the door in my pjs.
And then the very long DPD man arrived (not deliveries fault it was long awaited but simply electronics are crap at despatch), but he had my go pro.
So all in all i'm happy i've got everything i've brought recently. Though it is embrassing for Simply Electronics that Amazon (uk) and Konova (south korea) can both deliver on the 18th after i place my orders on the 13th (so 5 days including a weekend) and it has taken SE 3 weeks to despatch and deliver one little camera.
