Ron “Slider” Kerner is a wife guy in the most aggressive, unapologetic way possible.
If he has a wife, he is obsessed.
Not quietly. Not privately. Publicly. Loudly. With his whole chest.
Every conversation finds its way back to her.
“Oh, can’t go out tonight. I’m having dinner with my wife.”
“My wife did this amazing thing yesterday.”
“My wife makes the best cookies. No, I will not be taking questions.”
He says my wife like it’s a title. Like a badge. Like a flex.
Slider treats her like royalty but never in a performative way. It’s instinct. Princess treatment is not a special occasion, it’s the baseline. Flowers for no reason. Hands always finding hers. Brags about her the way other guys brag about kill counts.
And the thing is, everyone knows her before they meet her. Because Slider has already told them everything.
Iceman absolutely loves Slider’s wife.
Not in a weird way. In a deeply familiar way.
The dynamic is very much: “This is my husband, Slider.” “And this is my husband’s boyfriend, Iceman.”
