loving your au! MInd if i ask, would the girls have used different transformations in the beginning of season 8, someone would be like "hey why dont we use Draconix or Enchantix, they'd seem really effective in fighting something that's clearly not animal nor fauna-relate-" Bloom: "MAGIC WINX FAUNIX!" and would the girls use Enchantix for entering the ball miniworld thingy later on in S8?

Yeah they probably would have used a different transformation, but the star yummies (ugh that name gag me) are resistant to magic and ARE covered in fur so I guess I could see Bloom jumping to conclusions lol. The ball miniworld(and all miniworlds) are non-existant in my au lol, the star compass is earned…. some other way idk (I’m still figuring out what I want to do with season 8 sry)

hiya! I got a few questions. Will the ways the girls earn Draconix be altered? I presume Aisha and Stella won't just earn the almighty power of the dragon fire by doing a backflip. and also, what's your favorite transformation sequence (choreography)?

yes! So I know I’ve covered this here and there but here’s the basic run down, the Legendarium functions as a black hole for magical energies, it can be directed by its master but will also latch onto any signatures it comes in contact with so when the winx attack it when their magic it snatched hold of their signatures and absorbed them entirely. The winx (minus Bloom who’s dragon fire immediately rekindled her core) went into super serious core fatigue, and would have died if Bloom hadn’t given them sparks of the dragon flame. The Dragon Flame(ie bloom) sustains the girls’ cores until they metabolize it, enough to keep them on their feet and some minor magic usage. 

Their cores will eventually recover and metabolize the Dragon flame. This is a natural process like the body metabolizing alcohol and stuff, but its never been used so its a little unpredictable. It seems to metabolize quicker when the girl is in a highly emotional state and striving for something (saving miele, protecting everyone at alfea, protecting musa, saving the golden auditorium, etc) and this sudden release gives them Draconix.  Bloom is a little more unique(because bloom) but her sustaining the other girls drains her core enough to start displaying core fatigue symptoms even after the others metabolize it. Being thrown into the vortex of flames, an energy source originally created by the great dragon, boosts her core and dragon flame resulting in Draconix. 

So I haven’t been shy about my dislike of Sirenix aesthetically, BUT I actually love the transformation sequence (3D, 2D is kinda meh) its so sharp and bouncy and the girls are showing their personality and!!!! look its good animation sequencing with an unfortunately dull result :/

Have you seen the comic transformations? (Magic of Sports. Magic of Food. Travelix, Magic of Joy, Greenix, Paintix) How do you feel about them? Are some canon in your AU?

I have seen the comic transformations! I actually used Travelix as part of my inspo for Chronix. I like the concepts for some of them but the execution is like..... p lackluster in most cases(no shame on the artists working within a company is rough). Magic of sport/food isn’t a thing in my version. Greenix maaaaaaaaaybe? it would be a less powerful more stable version of Sophix. Paintix is........ such a disappointment. like your concept is PAINT AND ART AND CREATIVITY and we get these boring tube top pleated skirt dresses with dull wings and boots. I might redo that one just out of spite but it wouldn’t be canon in my au lol. The magic of Joy has potential and is actually quite pretty, but @prince-amethyst has a transformation called fantasmix which deal with joy and childlike wonder which I vastly prefer lol
