03/11/18 (around 2pm-3pm) Move. Eyes. Breathe. This was my very first time to experience sleep paralysis, and definitely, I don't want this to happen again. You’ll never know how frightening it was until it happens to you. I can’t move but I’m a bit conscious the time I was about to wake up, I actually feel my cat beside my feet but still, I can't move. It seems that there's something above my body, it was so heavy. I can't open my eyes widely yet I’m trying hard to recognize if I’m still in our sala, and yes I am. I’m also trying to visualize all the things I saw but its not a man or a woman, more like a huge glass with a tons of water over my body. I heard noises but its not clear enough to identify. I can't breathe, since there's something above my body which causes me to choke for awhile. I kept on taking a deep breath continuously and I'm also seeking our Lord to help me to overcome this nightmare episode. Until I woke up and breathe as good as I can. I’m trying to stay calm at that time. I thought it’ll be my last day on earth. It was really scary. A week ago, I drew this woman floating in a melted ice somewhere in an ocean, but actually it's not yet done. I suddenly remembered this sketch, the moment sleep paralysis happens to me. It has a similarities based on what I have felt and saw, the ice (glass), the water, the feeling of drowning (choking) it was a rare phenomenon to someone else's life. Anyone can be in my position, anytime, anywhere. I’m still trying to figure out how it occurred to me. All I know if it is due to stress or not having enough sleep. If it happens to me again (hopefully not) , I won't be afraid anymore because we have our Savior. #SleepParalysis #nightmare #simplygoggling #artph #sketch

This is a sample flyer I did from my previous employer. The copies are not mine since it is for a client but I did the layout design.
