Simply Thai

I admit - I don’t eat Thai food as often as other cuisines (i.e. burgers or ramen), but that doesn’t mean I like Thai food less. G and I decided to try Simply Thai and were quite happy with our first visit. The Tom Yum Kung (good old favorite hot and sour prawn soup) and Tom Khaa Gai (coconut broth, chicken, mushroom and lemongrass) were perfect for a rainy day. We also had Phad Thai (Thai style flat noodles with tofu, pork, bean sprouts, wrapped in an eggnet) and Thai Beef Rendang (four-hour cooked dry curry beef cubes). The Phad Thai seemed a little dry but overall was tasty, while the beef was packed with flavor but a little oily for my taste. I downed my meal with Ginger Beer (since I still cannot drink alcohol while I’m breastfeeding) and it was the perfect light accompaniment to a hearty, flavorful meal.
