I furnished a house?!

So, there’s one Sims Youtuber that I follow because I love her houses. If you don’t know MsGryphi yet I totally recommend you go and check her out.

Either way, she has uploaded a #ShellChallenge, and after watching so many of her vids I got inspired and tried my hand at it. If you’re interested, you can find the lot on the gallery under EA ID simpyre.

Quick update~

so... remember how I said I wanted to post & play uni along with everyone else? that didn’t work out well, did it? xD

I’m still planning on posting some uni gameplay of Life in the City, I did play it before disappearing, I just never got around to editing.

I might go back to my Stardew Challenge before that though, as it’s on the more casual side and I really want to continue playing.

So, while not having been able to play more and post bummed be out it’s all for good reason, I quickly got a new job after abandoning my last one at the end of october. I started three weeks ago (basically when I disappeared again... coincidence? I think not!) and it’s been keeping me a tad busy. I should be good to be more active again after training is over, which should be right around the turn of the year.

A quick update.

Hey peeps! Surpriiiiise!

This time it took me several months to get back to tumblr, but life has just been... well. Let’s just say I I haven’t exactly been happy and couldn’t bring myself to enjoy playing the Sims, much less simblr.

To cut a long story short: I quit my job and am now “looking for new opportunities” as some friends called it. I’m already feeling better just knowing I got out of that hellhole. 

So yes, I guess I’m back? At least I’ll be lurking again, so you can expect me to shower your dashboards with little love notes again soon! :)

I’m hoping to get back into playing as well, and will probably start with lookbooks / and maybe some character info thingys to get back to my legacy? We’ll see.

I just wanted to let you know that I missed you!

Sims Traits Tag

Imagine, if you were a Sim, what 6 traits and a life-time wish would you have?

Going with TS4 traits, I’d be...

Cheerful, Bookworm, Dance Machine, Lazy, Loves Outdoors (+ Loner)

It takes a lot to get me down, like... real down. I’m usually cheerful or allow myself to easily be distracted when something really bugs me. I love reading books. I can get lost in them for hours and really get into the story and characters (although I often prefer the minor/side characters over the main ones). Bring up some music and I’ll immediately start tapping my food and nodding my head along the beat. For me, dance like no one’s watching is a statement to live by. I am, however, quite lazy. I could watch Netflix or play The Sims all day. While I don’t mind exercise at all, I regularly need breaks when doing chores. I’m not sure if I can still say I’m an outdoorsy person, but I used to like camping and hiking and everything of that manner. I still enjoy being outside a lot though and it’s the only place where I’m happy to work as well (gardening, cutting grass and cleaning the driveway and such). My sixth would be loner because I can spend a lot of time by myself and being in a group where the majority are strangers to me I tend to get super uncomfortable.

My lifet-ime wish (aspiration?) would be Computer Whiz or Soul Mate.

Life in the City

Today I have a quick queue for y’all to catch up with Amanda! It’ll be a fast one, meaning there are things happening that could’ve occored over the timespan of a few years but as I’m trying to juggle several storylines at once (the main Shamrock Legacy, Life in the City, Jungle Adventures and soon™ Sulani as well) please just keep in mind that time in my stories is relative. I just have to push this out there as Amanda is the most logical choice to send to Uni, and for once, I want to play (and post) a new EP alongside everyone else, and not half a year later.

New Theme

Y’all it’s been at least three years and I’ve finally changed my theme. :o

I’ll have to find a new render thingy for the sidebar, and I’m thinking about possibly using a variety of different ones there, but overall I like it a lot! :)

Let me know your thoughts? Is it too dark? Should I disable the fade effect of the posts?

So, after restarting my game and everything I actually thought about buying Realm of Magic and Island Living, but was kind of upset because I’d missed out when this was discounted not too long ago. They’re trying to tell my something, aren’t they? *grabby hands*

ffs. the last time I went online here was on the “tumblr logoff”. does anyone even remember that? lol. anyways, I’m glad people are still here! I’m not gonna browse backwards on my dash 2months worth of posts but I guess I’ll gradually catch up with everyone as y’all pop up on my dash with new posts.

(yeah, obvioulsy Strangerville has lured me back in. I’m not getting it yet, but I’m actually hopeful to get a few hours of playtime this week, after having grown tired of everything else I’ve been gaming recently.)
