SIMS 2 VACATION TIME???

Ok ... I haven't seen anyone talk about this but have y'all checked out the system that lets Sims earn "Vacation Days" for their jobs?

Yeah because most of my Sims? Their Vacation Days stay at zero.

And I honestly never really investigated it until now. Sometimes I would add vacation days with SimBlender Sim Manipulator lol and just forget about it.

Having used Bidou's Career Editor in SimPe SO many times .. I can't believe that I totally missed the fact that in Bidou's Career Editor for almost all careers, both custom AND vanilla, the Sim's daily Time Off/Vacation Days "accruement" which is basically how many "points" they earn PER SHIFT ... for Vacation Days is not set up well

But I do have the absent-minded trait so never mind

When you hover over the Paid Time Off (PTO) Daily Accruement field in Bidou's Career Editor (it's in the "Hours and Wages" section for your selected career), it says that ONE HUNDRED POINTS are taken each time a Sim uses ONE VACATION DAY.

But almost ALL careers I have seen have their daily accruement set to a measly FIFTEEN. At the most.

This is wild.

Ok, so basic tutorial. I think you can change this number to virtually any value. I don't see how it could hurt. I'm going to try it today.

Always commit and save the career.

I changed this value for a custom Mechanic career to be "45" instead of 15 once they reach a certain level!

I set it to only "5" for the entry level lmao

Has anyone else played with this?? Let me know!!!

Sims 2 had an error all because my sound cut out and I was trying to fix it. Okay then, maybe gonna go back later to it. I was almost done with the re-creation of the hotel from MySims. It’s not that big and easy to build so won’t take that much work.

Missing Sim?

I was playing Strangetown earlier, and Jenny Smith has completely dissapered! She's gone from both the household and the family tree, and any memories with her have been replaced with a blank and the name '§Subject', though she still appears in the family photo. While my game was fine yesterday, today the launcher didn't work until restarting the computer, and after exiting without saving the game terminated. Does anyone have any idea what happened or how to fix it?
