Plan for my Worlds
Put a lot of thought into it and here is what I will do with my worlds to reduce the size and crashes but not lose all my past work or Sims I still want to play. Posting this for me to keep track and also, who knows, maybe others will want to save their big worlds in similar ways.
1 - Pembray/Fernbray - Trim down the world in CAW, keep around half the current lots and families, with my more contemporary/modern buildings going here - keep farming bit but lose horse bit - spring/winter vibes
2 - Zavoti - Trim down the world in game (and maybe CAW), keep half the lots and families, with the more whimsical buildings going here - summer vibes
3 - Northeney - Move the other half of my Pembray sims here and gradually renovate some of the lots - horse families will be here - autumn vibes
To do this I need to do it in a process:
1 - Extract half of current Pembray Sims and move them to Northeney - Northeney can now be played if all I want to do is play the game immediately
2 - Trim back Zavoti, deleting some of the filler lots and sims from my old worlds that I'm no longer invested in - a few Pembray sims may move here and some Zavoti sims may be demoted to NPCs
3 - Extract some lots from Pembray and move them to Zavoti
4 - Decide which of the remaining Pembray lots to keep
5 - Redo Pembray/Fernbray in CAW with reduced space only needed for the kept lots and replace empty spaces with plants/deco. The other world will have beaches/ocean so less focus of that here
