Potential Profile

Jordyn Padgett (she/her) spent 18 long Sim years in her sleepy farming hometown of Henford-on-Bagley. As soon as she was able, she fled to the bustling city of San Myshuno, rooming with 3 other Sims in the Fashion District. One of those Sims was a woman by the name of Penelope Puri (Penny Pizzazz by default), a Simfluencer who skyrocketed to stardom through her videos reviewing celeb style fails and budding fashion trends. Penelope taught Jordyn the tricks of her trade, and now Jordyn has a following of her own--though she only makes content related to movies, TV, and the art world. Her ultimate goal is to become a world-renowned art critic, attending shows/ galleries around the world and leaving her mark on the industry. She knows she'll have to compete with the juggernaut that is Diego Lobo, but she greatly admires him and hopes they can collaborate one day.

She likes to go out and have fun, but Jordyn isn't a huge party animal. She's just as likely to prefer a night in with Netflix to a night out at a bustling bar. She's got a tight-knit group of friends with eclectic interests, and she prefers it that way. Jordyn has been on her fair share of dates with guys, but it's only recently that she realized her lack of attraction to them. Though she's not out to anyone, she's excited to explore her newfound identity as a lesbian.

Jordyn cares greatly about her health and personal style. She's seen enough denim and overalls to last her a lifetime--it's high quality clothing only from here on out. When she's not working or hanging out with her friends, you can find her shopping online, at a yoga studio, or a gym. Jordyn wishes she could eat healthier, but her notorious sweet tooth prevents her from cutting sugar out of her life altogether. She doesn't do dieting, either--she believes it can lead to unhealthy relationships with food.

🎼Meet Haven🎶

Hope you like my first attempt at truly taking the Sims way too seriously! I've created fake magazine covers for the 6 teens in my main household, and I'll be posting them over the next day or so. Haven's bio is under the cut, if you're interested!

Haven Marrone is a force to be reckoned with. She's the oldest of 5 siblings and has been parentified her whole life by her alcoholic parents. Tired of being treated poorly, she ran away from Selvadorada and started living on the streets of San Myshuno at 13. To get by, she stole a guitar and taught herself popular songs to get money from onlookers. About 2 years later, she ran into a teen named Wes, someone who also ran away from home. They quickly became friends and stuck together, stealing what they could and sharing their spoils with each other. But 6 months later, they finally got caught. When Wes reentered the foster care system, he demanded that they find a home for Haven, too, rather than send her back to her parents.

Now Haven’s 16-going-on-17. She was born in the spring, has the Short-Tempered and Perfect Pitch traits, and aspires to be a famous musician tomorrow—not just when she ages up to be a young adult. She’s a prodigy at the guitar and piano, and now that she’s in foster care, she hopes to pick up more instruments. Haven is also known for her vocal power—she can shatter glass and out-belt the Broadway greats in their primes. She resonates strongly with punk as an aesthetic, musical genre, and lifestyle (see brightly dyed hair and preferred clothing style).

This is her first foster home, so Haven’s understandably wary of everyone in it and everything about it. But Wes is inexplicably here, too. And she trusts him, so she thinks she’ll be okay for now.

Wes, Wes, Wes. Where do I begin? This is Wesley Robles, or Wes for short. He’s 17 years old, a summer baby, and has the Daredevil and Mean traits. He has the Live Fast teen aspiration, and I think all of that really encapsulates who he is as a teenager. Like Haven, Wes's heritage originates from Selvadorada, though he was born and raised in Oasis Springs. At six, his family dropped him off at a sleepover on their way to the airport. A friend of his father’s was getting married back home, and his parents and older siblings were going to attend the wedding, though younger kids like Wes weren’t allowed. They never returned. Their plane unfortunately crashed on its way back from Selvadorada.

Prior to the crash, Wes was always seen as a good kid. He developed his troublemaker reputation shortly after, though, and he subsequently never settled into a permanent home. He often clashed with foster parents and never wanted to get too close to them. Fed up with life as he knew it, he ran away from his then-home at 15 and had to learn how to survive on the streets. He met Haven shortly after; they became fast friends. For a while, he had a thing for her, and while he still thinks she’s pretty, he knows now that Haven is the very definition of a girls’ girl.

Wes is back in foster care now, much to his chagrin. He got off without a juvie sentence by promising that he would stop running away. Still, the only thing that is preventing him from bolting from this new household is the fact that he’s not alone this time—he has Haven. And for now, that will have to do.

Meet Chloe Einstein—yes, like the famous scientist. No relationship whatsoever, and she does get annoyed when people make jokes about it, especially since she's not doing so hot in school. Chloe's a teen, 15, to be exact. She's a summer baby and a Windenburg native, and she’s been in foster care since birth, when her parents gave her up for an unknown reason. All she knows is that they were likely quite young when she was born, and that they were Jewish. Because of that, she's been placed with Jewish foster families her whole life. She's proud of her heritage, but she sometimes feels lonely due to the small Jewish presence in Windenburg.

Chloe's traits are Active and Determined Her lifelong dream is to be a professional soccer player, so you can usually find her working out or carrying a soccer ball around. She always makes any school team she tries out for, but since she struggles to keep up in school, her place on these teams is never technically a guarantee. It's not that she doesn't care about education, it's just…actually, she's not sure why she struggles. School just doesn't seem to come naturally for her.

This is the first non-Jewish foster family she's been placed in, and Chloe is nervous. She's never found a home to really call her own before. She's gone almost 16 years without being adopted. Who's to say this time will be any different?

Irving's real name is Lindsey Irving, but he's gone by his last name for as long as he can remember. He's 17, from Willow Creek, a winter baby, and has the traits Analytical and Socially Awkward. His aspiration is to be a computer whiz, but if he could have another, it would be to attend university. At 8 years old, his mother abandoned him due to his increasingly erratic behavior—or so she said. He used to be a bit of a rambunctious kid, but he developed selective mutism in foster care as a defensive mechanism after constantly being berated for being himself. Shortly before arriving at the Brookestone-Walker house, he was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum.

Irving is passionate about all different kinds of technology. He's on his way to being a whiz with computers and likes to tinker with science projects at school. He also recently picked up chess—don’t challenge him, because he WILL beat you. But Irving's not very good at keeping friends. People tend to make assumptions and judge him once they find out that he has autism. He's hoping a fresh start in a new country will change things, or at least allow him to find others like him who, maybe, are looking for a friend, too.

Heather Ranunculus is a sweetheart. That’s probably the best way to describe her. She’s about to turn 16 in a few days, on Love Day. She has the Pretty and Kind traits (that's how she's been viewed by those around her, at least), and her aspiration is to be a famous actor. She’s the kind of person everyone wants to be around. That’s what makes what happened to her all the more heartbreaking.

Truthfully, Heather doesn’t know exactly what happened before she turned nine. All she’s been told is that she had a mother, father, and sister who loved her very much. On her ninth birthday, she and her family got into a car accident that killed everyone but her. She survived, obviously, but it messed with her memory. Without any other relatives to care for her, she entered the foster system. She hasn’t been treated the best—calling her “Cinderella” would probably be a step too far, but she has always been treated as an afterthought. And despite her kind heart, like everyone else, she has her own vices. Basically, Heather’s an excellent liar. She has a perfect poker face and can convince pretty much anyone that she’s telling the truth. Makes her a great actor, but, you know.

All Heather wants is a stable home where she doesn’t get belittled. Is that really too much to ask?
