We have moved!
Hi everyone :)
In the interests of being able to communicate with you properly (we just could not make the commenting widget work on the previous version of the site), we have decided to move to Wordpress. The layout still needs quite a bit of work (no kidding! there is nothing there yet! LOL) but our first post is up:) So please come and share with us your speculation about what you think the Maxis team might reveal at Gamescom. Only 3 weeks to go!
The articles from the old site will be migrated to the our new home on Wordpress soon and you will be finally able to comment on them. Yay! In the meantime we’ll be working on the layout and trying to get some fresh content up for you. 2015 has been a super busy year for both of us and I think we must admit that the site has been less dynamic than we had hoped when we first set out on this journey. We promise that we will try to amend this in the near future, with fun new content and perhaps a comp or two in the coming weeks. Members of the Sims community inspire us with their energy and creativity every day and it’s time for us to put some of that inspiration to good use.

Who is this for, anyway, since we have a cheat that takes it away?
This file is for players who want to get rid of the plumbbob but want to keep the speech and thought bubbles. The cheat removes both and folks who like to remove just one and not the other don’t particularly want to use the cheat. It could be quite useful for people who record videos for YouTube, for example, where the speech and thought bubbles help to tell the story but they don’t want the plumbbobs to be showing.
WINDOWS ONLY AS WE HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE MAC FILE STRUCTURE.

If you would be able to help out with a Mac version (even if it’s just to tell us that this one works so we can stop asking about it) please send us an ask or fanmail. The job is not big - you can either confirm this one works or you send us a copy of the equivalent file from the Mac version and we see if we can work out how to make it work on that platform (and then we bug you for a copy of the Mac file every time there is a patch).

Hey guys! Sorry about the silence of late. We’ve been a bit soggy and rather busy IRL. On the good news front, we are currently working on putting together some guides and there will be a couple of giveaways soon. Buster’s hospital adventures in the Let’s Play Doctor! videos will also be back from their temporary hiatus, which was brought on my Engram’s exams and the flu season starting in Australia (constant sneezing and coughing is not really all that entertaining as a video soundtrack).
