so I need to rant & get your opinions..

So I came across a person who doesn't ever offer free content.. this person charges minimum $10.. None of their stuff is available for free ever. it never becomes free even after a month or six months. this is not the kind of person you want to download CC from because they are stealing from the community. Of course, you can make money here in this community, but never are you allowed to charge people. You're supposed to make your items be available for free. That's against EA's policy. I am so damn pissed that I found this person because I really enjoyed their quality of custom content. Nobody's denying that you can make money creating content. and I'm not trying to stop anybody, but it's against E A's policies to charge people and never make the content available for free. I just checked out this person's Patreon and every single person in their comments is asking for the "link please" to download. That means that they never, ever offer their custom content for free. which is against terms of service for EA. You're damn right I reported them. Maybe nothing's going to happen. I'm just a simple little custom content creator. I'm sure EA has better things to do, but this is disgusting. This person charges 10 to $100 for their custom content. And I'm not saying they don't deserve to get paid. Just like Hey Harrie with that whole debacle she had during Christmas time, charging people and not allowing people to get their stuff for free either. But this person that I found never ever allows their stuff to be free, which is against terms of service. At least, Hey Harrie allows their things to be free eventually. It still doesn't make the nasty taste in my mouth go away though.

Am I tripping about it? am I the one being crazy? I need to know.

There's a special, very quiet season in blogging. When you post something on the internet, and all you get in response is the sound of your own breathing. No likes, no shares, no questions. Just… silence.

At first, it feels like you're shouting into a void. Like your words, screenshots, and small discoveries are irrelevant. You want to close the tab and never come back.

But then I remember why I started. Not for the subscriber counter (although it's nice, of course). But to find my own. Those who also like to look at pixelated wallpapers, go crazy from the layout and believe that comfort can be built.

This silence is not an emptiness. It's a space for growth. While no one is watching, you can experiment, make mistakes, look for your own voice. You can write just for yourself - honestly and without looking back.

I will still build my virtual houses. I will still share my thoughts. Because somewhere out there, there's a person who will one day come across this blog and think, "Oh, this is close to me."

Have you ever had a conversation with silence? What helps you to keep creating when it seems that no one can hear you?

Brindleton Bay Makeover – My Plan!

I’ve been working on a plan to give Brindleton Bay a fresh makeover, and I wanted to share my ideas! 🏡✨ Residential lots are marked in red, and haunted residential lots are in purple. There are 12.5 residential homes: 5 standalone houses, a 6-unit apartment building, a haunted house, and Katrina’s apartment above her cat cafe (which is why I’m counting it as 0.5). Now I’m on the hunt for builds to bring it all to life.

Required Packs

To fully enjoy my version of Brindleton Bay, you'll need at least: ✔️ Base Game 💍(Required to play the other packs and for the Yacht Club, which I’m turning into a wedding venue!) ✔️ Cats & Dogs 🐶🐱 (Obviously, since it's Brindleton Bay!) ✔️ For Rent 🏢 (For the apartment building) ✔️ Businesses & Hobbies 🏪 (For Katrina’s Cafe/Apartment) ✔️ Spa Day 💆‍♀️ (For the Gym/Spa) ✔️ Get to Work 🍽️🐾 (For the seafood restaurant and pet store) ✔️ Get Together ☕ (For the cafe—unless they’re included in B&H? If you have the pack, let me know in the comments if you still need GT to open a cafe in B&H!) ✔️ Snowy Escape 🏔️ (For the hot springs, though if you don’t have it, hot tubs or pools can be substituted!)

How I’m Approaching This

I won’t be building everything from scratch! Instead, I’ll be using lots made by other players whenever possible. I’ll also be adapting custom content (CC) builds to work without CC, since I can’t use it anymore without my game crashing. If I can’t find something that fits my plan and the overall vibe, I’ll either build it myself or, if any builders are interested, we can collaborate!

So I am trying to render this sim. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get Kotehok Nikki hair color system to show up? I don't know much about Blender so any help I could get would be great! I turned it to Alpha hashed, and blend and it still shows up like this. There has to be way if not that is fine.
