Sims Bustin Out Challenge for Sims 4
How to start
Download (ID: HugMe2Day) or create the buildings and characters yourself (and have fun!). As I don’t own all the packs, I tried to build the houses as close to the original ones. Put all the buildings in your game and make the families who live there, move in.
Create a sim (young adult) you’d like to play this challenge with. Play with aging off. When you need to age up your child use the birthdaycake. You can age up your baby after 3 days and your toddler after at least 6 days.
At some houses the roommates are playable, in other houses they’re not. You may not controle those roommates.
Once you moved in with Mom, you set your money on 500. (crtl+shift+c: money 500).
Everytime you move out a house, use the cheat Free Real Esatate to move in to your new place (ctrl+shift+c: freerealestate on). Remember your own household funds and when you moved in, change the new household funds to the old number (you don’t wanna take credit of your freshly new roommates!).
In some of the places you’ll move in won’t be a bedroom or shower. You need to add those yourself, with your own simoleons.
Once you completed all the goals in a stage, you can move into the next home.
Stage 1: Moms House
A farm house, away from town
Roommates: Mom (uncontrollable)
Goals:
- Get a job (you can choose anything you like) and go to work fort he first time
- Make at least 1 friend
- Get your cooking skill to level 1
Stage 2: Mimis place
A small pink house with girly tastes
Roommates: Mimi (uncontrollable)
Goals:
- Make good friends with Mimi
- Invite mom over to your new place
- Get promoted twice (so you’ll be in level 3 of your career)
- Get your cooking skill to level 2
- Get your handiness skill to level 3
Stage 3: Goth Manor
A haunted old manor
Roommates: Bella and Mortimer (playable)
Goals:
- Make friends with Bella and Mortimer
- Buy improvements for he Goth Manor worth at least 1000 simoleons
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 4 of your career)
- Host a groupséance
Stage 4: Studio 8
A failed art studio
Roommates: Artie Fischi and Charity Grant (playable)
Goals:
- Make friends with Artie or Charity (or both)
- Buy improvements for Studio 8 worth at least 1000 simoleons (buy at least 2 paintings)
- Paint at least 5 paintings which you exhibit in the Studio.
- Throw a party to show everyone the new improved studio 8, with your own paintings. Make sure there is enough food and people can have a good time dancing.
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 5 of your career)
- Visit Mimi at her house
Stage 5: Toanes gym
A gym with no members at all
Roommates: Max Toane and Goldie Toane (playable)
Goals:
- Make friends with Max or Goldie.
- Buy improvements for the gym worth at least 1000 simoleons
- Make new friends, and invite them (at least 5 friends) over for a party to show them what a great gym Toanes gym is.
Stage 6: Club Rubb
A local dance club losing it’s business
Roommates: Bing Bling and Mona Lott (playable)
Goals:
- Invite your lover over for a date night at home. If you don’t have a lover yet, go get them tiger!
- Get your dancing skill to level 4
- Get your DJ skill to level 3
- Buy improvements for the club worth at least 1500 simoleons
- Go to Toanes gym and train to the limit
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 6 of your career)
- Throw the ultimate DJ party. If you didn’t already bought a dancefloor, buy one now. And do some dance-off
Stage 7: Casa Caliente
A seaside love shack
Roommates: Randy Hart and Paisley Rainbow (playable)
Goals:
- Invite your lover over for a date night at your new place
- Go to studio 8 and make a painting
- Buy improvements for Casa Calienter worth at least 1500 simoleons
- Kiss two sims at the same party
Stage 8: Shiny Things Labs
A huge lab, home to technological oddities
Roommates: Vaughn Braun and Makino Nada (playable)
Goals:
- Invite your lover over for a datenight at your new place
- Get married
- Buy improvements for the Shiny Things Labs worth at least 1500 simoleons
- Launch 5 rocket schoolprojects
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 7 of your career)
Stage 9: Tinsel Bluffs
A movie studio with an excellent view of SimValley
Roommates: Humphrey Hawks and Fanny Adore (playable)
Goals:
- Write a script for a movie at the computer
- Go to Club Rubb and win a game of table football against Bing
- Make close friends with Malcolm Landgraab
- Buy improvements for the Tinsel Bluffs worth at least 2000 simoleons
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 8 of your career)
Stage 10: The Octagon
An octagonal millitary base
Roommates: General Payne and Maxime Powers (playable)
Goals:
- Make or adopt a baby and raise it from toddler to child
- Hack Landgraab systems (programming skill level 5 required)
- Buy improvements for the The Octagon worth at least 2000 simoleons
- Get promoted (so you’ll be in level 9 of your career)
Stage 11: Pixel Acres
The local nudist camp up the mountain
As this is a nudist camping, always click your sim (and roommates) and make them walk around naked.
Roommates: Chase Skurtz and Ying Yangst (playable)
Goals:
- Seduce someone at Casa Callente (fall in love with Randy or Paisley and WooHoo!)
- Make friends with Chase
- Go to Shiny Things Labs and tell Vaughn or Makino a big secret (Chases secret formula)
- Buy improvements for the Pixel Acres worth at least 2000 simoleons
Final Stage: Malcolms Mansion
A vast and beautiful Mansion
You don’t really have roommates in Malcolms Mansion. Malcolms is so impressed by everything you achieved, he left you his mansion and moved out himself.
Goals:
- Make sure your child only gets A’s at school
- Buy improvements for the Mansion woth at least 20,000 simoleons
- Get promoted (so you’ll be at level 10 of your career)
Mazuiko’s D.S.K.(O!) [Dance, Sushi, Karaoke... Oh my!] now available! This lot functions as a restaurant, karaoke bar, and nightclub!

Episode #58: PlaySim Got Played
That first PlaySim magazine hit the news stands, with Cali Skye gracing the cover. There was much shock, curiosity, and gossip that circulated even faster than the magazine itself.
One day later, what happened next topped it. Lawsuits were served to PlaySim and its stockholders, mainly to its primary one Malcolm Landgraab. News channels immediately jumped on this hot story!
Newscaster: "Senator Malcolm Landgraab was among the PlaySim magazine stockholders served with a lawsuit by a law enforcement officer representing Cali Skye. She had a signed contract that stated that the photo shoots will include NO nudity, which was breached."
[While Malcolm and his people were distracted during the signing, the legal assistant sneakily typed the word "NO" on the contract, before printing it off, and handing it over to be signed.]
Newscaster: "In addition, another model was blackmailed into posing de-pixeled, made up to look like the feature model Cali Skye. It appears the other model, a Ying Yangst, was under fire with Senator Landgraab, who even had repossessed property from their nature retreat, using it to hold the model and her partner hostage."
Newscaster: "In related news, all confiscated objects held in that impound lot are being released to their rightful owners."
[Fran returned from her long vacation, and was happy to see Chase got his tetherball back. She couldn't wait to slap Chase's ball--]
Newscaster: "There has been a public outpouring of sympathy for the wronged Cali Skye, as well as the other model Ying. Due to all the protests, PlaySim magazine has folded after the first issue. It was bought out by a women's group, and all of the office workers will retain their jobs on the new magazine CoSIMSmopolitan."
Newscaster: "Senator Landgraab has been removed as the head of the governmental Senate, as a vote was taken, with young go-getter Nora Zealott becoming the new Chief of Senate. Landgraab is currently dealing with alimony and child support funds illegally withheld, which could be now due to his ex-wife and children."
MOM: "Yeah! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!"
Newscaster: "In other news, a neighborhood brawl took place at Toane's Gym between suspected mob thugs and a group of vigilantes from Sim Valley..."
MOM: "Oh, that's right. I forgot all about that little side quest. I'll have to send Cali over to Sim Valley to give them her thanks in person. She needs to see that results of that LINK her mom found."

Episode #47: Sims Bustin'....In??
It happened almost instantly, with no time to react or escape it, and in the middle of the night in that secluded area of Brindleton Bay. So there were no witnesses, and no chance to call for help.
Cali: "What the...? What is this place? And this outfit??"
Stranger: "Oh, you must be new here! Just chill. This is Club Rubb, but I'm guessing you're trippin' from the skippin'...ya dig?"
Woman: "Don't mess with her head, when she just got here!!"
Stranger: "My bad. Your head's probably a little fuzzy from what you just went through. Relax. You're in a safe place now, new girl, and... well, YOUR subconscious picked that outfit, not that I'm complaining."
Cali: [looks down at herself] "Actually, I do remember seeing this dress at a little shop called Good Chill Studio back home, for a date I was going on with...I can't seem to remember now."
Stranger: "Forgetting stuff when you first cross over here is normal, so don't sweat it. Give your brain a couple minutes to get used to this place, and you'll be all right."
Woman: "Come on, new girl! This is Club Rubb! Let's DANCE!!"
Cali accepted her current circumstances for now, and just shook off her fears and apprehensions on the dance floor. As her brain started to adjust, and her memories came back, she saw a familiar face.
Cali: "Wait...aren't you Knox Greenburg from Evergreen Harbor?? I swear there was a missing person's report out on you recently."
Knox: "Really? Did they post my loveable face on a milk carton, too? [laughs] I'm guessing you must be new to this place."
Knox: "Hey, MOM! We got a newbie for you, if you can help out."
That was strange, Cali thought. This older woman in a pink bath robe, fuzzy slippers, and hair curlers wasn't here a second ago.
MOM: "Oh! You must be Cali. You look just like...never mind. You better have a seat, so I can talk you through all of this."
MOM: "You're actually in a dream state right now, so what you're experiencing now is a hallucination blended with this world AND the one you came from. Don't worry. You'll be awake soon."
Cali: "Thanks, but since you know who I am, who are you exactly?"
MOM: "I'm simply MOM, the mother figure that governs the laws of this world, so I am bound to this place. If I would be taken from here, chaos would ensue both here and the world I'm taken to."
For some reason, Cali thinks back to some top secret files she found regarding a "mother" plant experiment that was taking place at the Strangerville facility. If MOM's reasoning was valid...
Cali's head was feeling groggy again, either from this conversation...
She woke up on a bed in normal sleeping clothes, and not that little black dress from GCS. "Bummer," she thought. This appeared to be a normal suburban house, like the one she grew up in, back in Newcrest. Were her memories of her own world being mixed in with the laws of this place?
As much as her heightened brain cells tried to figure things out, she felt utterly drained from the "skip" to this place, like jet lag X 1000. Her rustling around alerted the person outside.
MOM: "Oh, Cali. You're finally awake. Thank goodness. If you're well enough to walk around, I can tell you everything you'll need to know about this world, including getting yourself prepared, any others that are here, how to get back, and...your REAL Mom."
Cali: "MY Mom?"
MOM: "Yes, she was here a couple decades ago. I'll explain things slowly, AFTER some hot cocoa. Oh...I might as well say this, too."
Cali: [worried] "What is it...?
MOM: "Nothing earth shattering, but that ASSHOLE ex-husband of mine Malcom repossessed the red scooter again. Landgrabbs..."
Cali was awake, but very puzzled.

Episode #52: Faith, Hope, and Charity
Fully out of the "nest" called MOM's House, Cali temporarily moved in at Mimi's Place. She completed her tasks on the to-do list, while getting those two promotions. The Lingerie Model gig was awkward, but that was behind her, and Body Waxer was the next up.
Cali was on to her next temporary home at Studio 8, which was run by patrons of the arts Charity Grant and Artie Fischl. There weren't any crazy job promotions this time on her Fashion Victim career path, just Fingernail Painter and Wig Designer, as Cali gave a sigh of relief.
Instead of meeting Artie, Cali was surprised to see a man in uniform outside the studio. He must have known she was arriving soon.
Detective: "Hello, young lady! You must be the Cali I'm hearing about. I'm Detective Dan D. Mann, and I hail from Sim Valley, though I also work out of Miniopolis, too."
Cali: "Good day, and nice to meet you, Detective!"
Detective: "Don't worry about me getting in the way of your duties. I'm just here to keep Charity company, while Artie is out on an assignment." [He hands her a business card, which read Artie Fischl Intelligence. Cali had to smirk at the pun.]
Inside the studio, Dan made the introductions, as Cali blabbered, smitten with this creative beauty. Charity was concerned if this person was capable of helping with these quests. But once Cali focused, the two started brainstorming.
Charity: "With Artie out on assignment, I've been wracking my brain to come up with ideas for a successful art showing. That Malcolm has been breathing down our necks about the rent, threatening to repo everything and kick us out."
Cali: "I think I have an idea! What if we knock out part of the wall between the lobby and gallery? When people immediately enter the studio, the art will give it a POP, and draw their attention."
Charity: "Hmmm...that does sound like what we're missing. I'm no good with demo or construction. Do you think you can handle it?"
Cali: [swooning] "It will be my privilege, milady!"
Charity: "Thanks, Cali! I'm sure we'll be great friends, if we can pull off a successful showing for the studio. I don't want to burden you too much, since you have work and other quests to deal with."
Dan: "And feel free to pick my brain, if you need any intel about this world or anyone here. It would be fascinating to hear what's going on in your neck of the universe, while we're at it."
Before tackling the demolition project at the studio, Cali needed to travel back to Mimi's Place, to make sure she was OK.
Mimi: "Yeah, I haven't broken anything or burned the house down yet, haha. OH! I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I think I remember some rumors going around, not long after your mom was here."
Cali: "Something about my mom Alison??"
Mimi: "No, but it was like a year later. Someone said there was another Landgrabb over here shortly, but didn't go through the normal quest route like you and your Mom did. And then she was out of here, like SplitsVille. Just thought I would mention it."
Cali: "Thanks for the info, Mimi! I'll make a note of it." Maybe Detective Dan had some intel on this little mystery.
Cali saw a lot of garbage piles around the place, and cleaned up the mess, while Mimi was making herself some espresso, and getting hyper. Don't ever change, Mimi...
Cali had a relatively OK day as a Body Waxer. Dusty Hogg gave her rave reviews, as Cali gently removed all that back hair for him. So now she was promoted to Fingernail Painter. Cali was used to painting at an easel, but doing her art on nails could be fun, too.
When she got back to the Studio, she took down the door between the lobby and gallery, and a big chunk of the wall. It really opened the place up, and visitors were greeted with a burst of color.
She didn't realize that one of her own paintings was on display here, so Charity and Artie must have been the collectors who bought it.
This one was based on San Myshuno, which made her a little homesick for her own world. Though she knew she would see it again sooner, if she kept her focus on completing these quests.
Cali came to another large painting project, but it seemed like she knew the model from somewhere, but couldn't place it.
Charity: "Oh, that one's been up for years now. I painted that. The model was this young lady named Bella. She must have gone back, since I haven't seen her in ages. That piece is really popular, but I'm too attached to it sell. Malcolm has been trying to repo that one."
Cali made more notes on this beautiful work of art. Were Malcolm's intentions geared towards its beauty, or something else?
Finally, it was time for that art show opening. Mom and her two former step-kids were the first to show up, as others started trickling in to see what was happening.
Charity was thrilled that the showing was a success, as they all had bursts of creativity, wondering what they could do for the next one.
Detective Dan was relieved that Charity was going to be OK, while Artie was away. Though Dan wondered if Artie had made any progress on the "investigation" they were both working on.
With the art show opening quest completed, Cali went off to her job in a great mood. She was inspired while working on those fingernails, and got great review from her customers. So....

Episode #55: Questions Uncovered
"NO! NO! NO!" Cali kept yelling out loud to herself, adamantly refusing to follow through on this Level 9 Centerfold job, as part of her near-completed Fashion Victim career path.
When she finally calmed down, she called MOM for some motherly care and a pep talk, then changed clothes while she waited for her.
When MOM finally arrived at Tinsel Bluffs, Cali's fury came back. "THIS IS BULL$#|+!!" she screamed, as MOM just let her get it off her chest. "Tell me there's something you can do to stop this!!"
MOM exhaled, knowing Cali wasn't going to like her answer. "I can only govern the laws of this place, but Malcolm...people like him in such a high position of power...THEY make the rules, and I'm sorry to say this, but they also have the authority to CHANGE those rules."
Cali: "Really...am I seriously going to have to go through with this?"
MOM: "I can't openly intervene, and tell you how to fix this. Just like a parent, the child has to start figuring things like this out for themselves, but...with your brains and imagination, I think you'll find a way. No law says I can't POINT you in the right direction."
Cali: "OK, what DIRECTION to I need to take, MOM, I begging you!"
MOM: "Oh, the wheels in my cunning brain are spinning in the fast lane [chuckles]. But first, I should uncover some certain details about your mom Alison's LAST two jobs as a Mad Scientist."
Cali: "Oh, did she have it worse, than I'm having now? Once I bare it all for that stupid magazine, there's no getting it back. You know the expression, once it's out there..."
MOM: "I don't want to make light of what you have to do, but YES, your mom's work had more historic ramifications. Her Level 9 job on her career path was Space-Time Tinkerer. No one else had gotten even close to that level like she did. Level 10 was even worse as a Death Ray Inventor. She confided in me her worries about it all."
Cali: "Oh, no! Did mom cause all the space-time discoveries, when she got back to our own world? And dad even helped with it?"
MOM: "She did have her concerns that Malcolm or other evil forces would use them for their own selfish reasons. Once she officially completed the promotions, she destroyed both the space-time and death ray projects, so no one could get their hands on them again."
Cali: "Wow, I really have some amazing parents, don't I?"
MOM: "YES, you do! Even though the physical projects were destroyed, she still kept all of that knowledge and those specs locked away in that pretty little head of hers. I still remember her having to fight off advances from the Tutti's and Frutti's on Free Street. Once she destroyed the two projects, she couldn't escape back to her own world fast enough. She really loves your dad, and hated being apart."
Cali: "I miss them, too. I feel like such a lousy offspring, being so childish about this whole centerfold thing. Guess I have to suck it up, complete these quests and promotions, so I can head home, right?"
MOM: "As far as Muscling the Muscle at Toane's Gym, leave that one to me. They may be Malcolm's hired muscle that will intimidate you and your friends. I have my own posse in Sim Valley that can take care of that quest. I think Ed Renalin would be perfect, too. He's the owner of his own gym there, and a bodybuilder."
Cali: "He sounds like one of my old classmates from home, Marcus Flex." She had a warm smile on her face, even remembering when he was checking her out on her first day at Ocean Crest Academy.
MOM: "Ooooh, what's that smile about? Was he an old flame? BAH! Enough of the girl talk. Let down your hair, and go take a bath to calm your nerves. I have a couple friends at Pixel Acres that I need to call. You said you wanted directions, so that's your next stop!"
Cali took MOM's advice, and settled into a bubble bath. She was going to have to get used to baring her soul (among other things), if she had to play by Malcolm's rules and get to Level 10.
But what was this Pixel Acres, and was MOM giving her clues on how to foil Malcolm's plans, like Cali's mom did years ago? As more questions and hints became uncovered, so would the answers.
