July 11th, 2019 - Movie Day🎬🍿

Hey guys, it’s Eric. Long time no see. How’s your day going today? I hope everyone is having an awesome day. Today, I took the kids to the movies to see Toy Story. We’ve been seeing a lot of movies lately at the theater. The latest movie we seen was Aladdin and the kids can’t wait to see Lion King next week.

We had a Toy Story marathon yesterday to get us all caught up to watch this movie. Nyla was going to come with us but she was feeling very sick. She’s been feeling sick for about a week now and I know she wants to go to the doctor tomorrow so we’ll give you guys an update if anything wrong happens. So fingers cross.

The movie was great. Great way to end the series too. The kids obviously loved it too, even Kris. I would tell you guys what happened but I don’t want to give any spoilers lol. You guys should definitely go watch it though. Highly recommend you guys see it with your kiddos :)

August 31th, 2019 - Guys Night Out🎳

Hey guys, it’s Eric! Long time no see. I’ve been trying to get better at posting but my life is somewhat still hectic. Still trying to manage a household with 7 people is pretty difficult but we’re trying to take it one step at a time.

Since our lives been kind of hectic it’s been a while since I hung out with my boys. I decided to take Kris and Daniel to the bowling alley to bowl and just hang out with each other. I would’ve brought Asher with us but it would be kind of hard to have fun with an 1 month at the party. Most likely in the future Asher will join us for our guys night lol.

It was a lot of fun. It was just great to get out of the house and spend time together. The boys said they had a lot of fun which is what matters the most. I’m going to try to make a guys once a month and Nyla and I are going to try to post more on here lol.

August 13th, 2019 - Jennie The Helper

Hey guys, it’s Eric again. It’s been very busy in my household these past couple of days. The kids started school yesterday and my in-laws are in town helping us with the twins. Nyla kind of didn’t want them here because she wanted to take care of the kids by herself but I told her it takes a village to raise a kid and we need all the help we can get. I don’t want the kids to stress her out and bring her to postpartum depression.

Since my in-laws have been in town, they taking a lot of pressure off of Nyla and she can get some sleep. Them being in town also helps me do all the errands that I need to do without being worried about Nyla. After school, Jennie, my little helper, came with me do to errands.

One of the errands I needed to do was go grocery shopping which Jennie loves to do. I rarely go shopping, but Jennie goes with Nyla all the time so having her here with me to do errands was very helpful.

Jennie said the sweetest thing once we were finished “I’ll try my best to help you and mom so don’t worry.” She’s literally an angel.

July 23rd, 2019 - Twins’ Nursery🦊💙💖

Hey guys, it’s Eric! How are you guys doing? I hope well. Everything is great now. Nyla is still on bed rest at the hospital but the babies are doing well. The doctors been checking on the twins and Nyla every day and everything is hoing well. The kids are doing great too. They are really enjoying their summer

I’ve been off of three days straight so I decided to do the twins nursery. Of course the kids helped a lot. I wouldn’t have got a lot done if it wasn’t for the kids. I also FaceTime Nyla to get her input on the nursery. She pretty much told me want to get and what to do with it lol.

Once the kids and I started decorating the nursery, it didn’t take us long to finish. The only thing that took long was putting the furniture together but Kris help a lot. Don’t think I could’ve had finished putting up the cribs without him.

I really like the nursery. I’m very proud of how it turned out. Can’t wait to meet the miracle twins<3

June 16, 2019 - My Father’s Day🥰❤

Hey guys it’s Eric. How have you guys been? I hope well. We’re doing good. Happy Father’s Day! I hope you guys enjoyed today with you’re father.

Today, I had a long shift at work so the kids woke up this morning and told me “Happy Father’s Day!” and gave me cards that they made. I really appreciated  it and I thought that was my father’s day gift. When I came home from work, I seen that there was dinner on the table for me and gifts. I went into my bedroom where Nyla was laying and she told me that the kids bought the gifts actually. The lemonade stand that Jennie and Daniel had last week wasn’t for them trying to get money for the summer but it was for me.

I teared up once she told me that. The fact that they went above and beyond to get money to get gifts for me is just amazing. This is one of the reason why I love being a father. I have such amazing kids and I definitely need to make this up to them. Might take them to the water park this week.

August 12th, 2019 - First Day Of School

Hey guys, it’s Eric. It’s the first day of school! Summer just flew by so fast. The kids were excited for the first day of school but we all know they’ll be excited for the first day of school but next week,  it’ll be so hard to get them out of their beds lol.

I can’t believe how big my kids are getting. This is Kris freshman year in high school, Daniel is a 5th grader and Jennie is in Kindergarten. Can you guys believe how big they are getting? I definitely cried when I drop them off from school. I know not to cry in front of them because they’ll say that I’m being uncool lol.  

I wish time can stop and let me enjoy my babies. They are just growing up too fast. At least I have the twins that are babies but before you know it, they’ll be starting school too. I should not think about that, I’ll end up crying again lol lol.

September 11th, 2019 - Jennie Learning How To Ride A Bike🚲

Hey guys, it’s Eric. I know it’s been awhile since you guys heard from us. Life has been very busy. I’ve been working a lot and the kids been in school and doing their after school activities. Also, Nyla is doing great working from and the twins are doing.

Since I’ve been pretty busy these couple of days, it’s been really hard for me to teach Jennie how to ride her bike but finally today, I had time. We went to the park and we started.

At first, she was scared but then she started to get brave once she got the hang of it. I thought she was doing great so I let go of the bike  and then 5 seconds she fell. She had a little scratch on her knee and cried a little. I told her that we can stop if she wanted to but  she wanted to keep going. So she got back on the bike and kept on trying until she finally knew how to ride a bike.

That’s one of the many things I love about her, she’s not a quitter lol.

June 11, 2019 - Ice Cold Lemonade🍋🍹

Hey guys, it’s Eric. How is everyone? I hope everyone is okay. We’re doing pretty good. It’s summer break for the kids and you know they are excited and loving every minute of summer break. They want to do so much stuff over the summer, especially Daniel and Jennie, but they don’t have the money to. Nyla and I give the kids allowance but apparently that’s not enough for Daniel and Jennie lol.

Since it was such a hot day today, Daniel and Jennie decided to sell lemonade to raise more money to do stuff over the summer. Nyla helped them make the lemonade and I helped built the stand. They got a lot of people to come out and get lemonade. Our neighbors had some and even cars driving pass our house wanted some.

They earned 20 dollars which they split between each other. They are planning on doing this tomorrow which is very shocking. They crazy thing about it is that they didn’t ask Nyla and I for the money, they went straight to trying to figure out how to make their own money. I guess I have some independent kids lmao.
