I think the amount of items in your house affects it a lot. In one of my saves, the house was completely empty and the bills were fine. Once I fully decorated the house, the bills skyrocketed.
Oh yes, I know, which is what worries me about TS4! & the reason I made mention that it wasn't a mansion, was b/c if it WAS, think of how much more you would have to fill & how much more your bills would be! So omgz what are they gonna do to us in TS4!! :O :O :O

The weird/bad thing is I really want to play, I've been waiting for months to have my compu back. Now I do have it back but instead I'm going out everyday or so.
