Noma who?
And other such replies. Warning, some discussion about animal cruelty and its connections to toxic masculinity and other deeply depressing aspects to Western culture.
Seeing him with someone other than Noma is going to be weird, LOL. But I like it.
Yeah especially since I made for her essentially. That being said I am such a sucker for pairings that autonomously flirt into friendship while I’m not paying attention and they would not leave each other alone in my “face your sims” quick save. So now it’s a thing, Olin and Xoui are a thing and I’m here for it.

Olin just sitting back there like don't mind me. I'm just invisible
I actually shot a version where Estra didn’t say anything about him still being there but Olin just let himself out.

Sometimes I really hate people and the toxic masculine culture we live in. Animals are not well protected against cruelty of men. We try but pets are still ‘property’ by law. At least in the Netherlands. I am glad that this dog has you doing everything you can despite your health risks. Take good care of yourself. <3
It’s the same here in the US. It’s really disgusting so many people view fellow humans and other living things as a disposable objects for their use. I definitely agree that it is tied to the underlying misogynistic nature of Eurocentric societies. There’s just this sense of an unearned right to respect and ownership that pervades so many people’s world view. Thank you, I do try my best to look out for myself. I was a really independent person before I starting having health issues so sometimes I forget that I actually need to be careful with myself.

Yeah, they really aren't valued and mostly treated as throw away. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. It's heartbreaking for sure.
That’s exactly it, they are just tools to be used and discarded like anything that has outlived it’s use. I had dogs when I was very small and since I had a less than stellar homelife, they became a great comfort to me in hard times so I just do not deal well with this kind of thing. They can feel like we can feel. They love like we can love, it’s expressed differently but there’s a life there. Thank you, I wish there was more I could do for them but he’s already had animal control called on him and they did nothing.
