I’m still around!

I’ve been playing in Sims 4 a lot lately which is great because it’s really got me hooked at the moment. There’s still so much I haven’t done in the game yet and I’m having a lot of fun with my latest game. I’ll be sharing some random screenshots from it soon.

I haven’t forgotten my careers and such for Sims 3 though. Sometimes, I burn out with them and I need a complete break. This is one of those times. To be honest, I’ve been knocked sideways lately by the incredibly rudeness of some of the Sims 3 community and I’ve been disappointed by that. So I’m taking a little break. Not a big one, just a little one.

Yes, I will be posting more Sims 4 for the next few days, weeks maybe months. I don’t know yet. I know that I set this Simblr up to share my gameplay pictures and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. I might be developing a story with this one but I don’t know yet. Who knows where it might go?

Hi Sarah! Congratulations on your followers :D I think I'm number *counts in my head* 24, just a guess :p I'm wishing you well in your house move, so glad the sale finally went through! Take your time, make sure everything is set up exactly the way you want from the start :) We'll still be here when you get back, I know I'll be :) And I'll be okay with your posts because I'm reading them right from the beginning :D

Thank you to everyone for all of your replies and the congratulations on my 500 followers! I’m doing a collective reply to you all here as I’m literally falling asleep at my keyboard and it’s only 8.30pm! :o

The move is going quite smoothly at the moment and I’m lucky to have access to my new home already so I can decorate it before moving in but it’s the decorating that’s wearing me out, rather than the packing lol! It’s taken me about three weeks to decorate the bedroom and now that’s done I can stay there a few nights a week so that helps a bit. I just started doing the lounge on Monday but I’m not sure what’s worse, the actual painting or the preparation before painting! I’ll be so glad when it’s all finished!

Going to bed early tonight I think - I’m shattered! Thanks again, everyone! :D

Saffy’s school uniform actually consists of a white shirt that has to be ironed so I imagine she had to learn from her early teens to iron it herself...I cannot imagine her stepmother Mireille nor Anita doing it for her!

Sassy Saffy <3 I love these little notes to himself where he realizes what he had and what he lost and most importantly, that there's not just  one right way to love... This part gave me the feels.

Thank you so much, Ana! I feel it’s important to show that the breakup of his marriage is actually helping Roy achieve some personal growth...and that he’s not unaware that he did take Sonia for granted a lot of the time.

I'm so very rarely guessing what are you up to, Pru, because your story is masterfully unpredictable. That's why every time I'm guessing right I feel tremendous gratification. I've also noticed it happens the most when it comes to Saff which can only mean I still have the mentality of a teenager. Which is lame and shameful actually...

I think you guess right 99% of the time! I am intrigued to know if you have guessed right this time too. All I will tell you is that it is something to do with their night out at The Grind...:P

She looks nothing like her teen self though! I have no idea how that happened. I’ve never had a YA who looked so unlike her teen self. I tweaked nothing but her hair, either. It’s a complete mystery.

Not a charitable thought at all, but I'd like to see Saffy fall flat on her face :P I perceive her as someone who has a lot but still cries for the moon, who would chase excitement and to hell with the consequences just to alleviate boredom. BUT I could be totally wrong, so as always, I look forward to her story <3

Hiya and thank you Missy! Gonna answer this publicly. Hope you don’t mind. 

Sorry I haven’t updated you guys about it. I would say the whole thing is about half way done. I need to work on the middle part of the  boat which is going to require new meshing and making a fence.

Usually like to finish projects once I get started, but since Dec. I haven’t felt like working on anything. I was actually going to start doing some sims stuff last week. The universe had other plans though. My husband, Mother and Mother in Law all got the flu. My MIL has copd as well and had to be put in the hospital. We transferred her to a nursing home this week. Everyone is fine. It’s just stressful because MIL hasn’t had a cigarette in over 2 weeks and the fact she doesn’t want to be in the nursing home. She’s sorta a chronic complainer but she’s taken it to a whole new level since being in the nursing home(so much for the patch and xanax. Lol) . I don’t envy the nurses and wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. It’s a bit of a wait and see situation. If she improves in 21 days, she can go home, but if not then the stay will continue 

So yeah, I should probably go on a mini-hiatus. I just haven’t had the time to type it out. I promise to finish it but everything is on hold for now. Hope you guys understand.
