🎬 Mire en el cine 'MERCY' (SIN PIEDAD), es un thriller de ciencia ficción que explora los límites de la justicia y la tecnología en un futuro no muy lejano usando la IA. Es de detectives sentados en una silla siendo juzgado y buscando pistas mientras resuelve su caso.

Who’s who?

Dalys in a light blue 2 piece, Seductora/Amapola both in black with Amapola having pink accents to her outfit.

How’s the match?

Very good, particularly the finishing stretch of this match was lots of dives from people we often don’t see dives from. This is more exciting than many of the luchadora trios matches lately and that’s a very good sign for the tecnica side who are less highlighted and this could be a boost in their standing in the division. I hope to see more matches like this from the division going into 2019. 

Akuma & Camorra vs. Yago & El Hijo del Signo, mask/hair vs. mask/hair

Who’s who?

Akuma masked in gold/black and Camorra in black with t-shirt/briefs.

Yago has mask dreads and Signo is in pants/tank top

How’s the match?

Good, last year around this time(but at Christmas) CMLL had a mask cagematch and on Sin Piedad had Negro Casas vs. Sam Adonis, hair vs. hair match. I think this match is more like the former and is pretty forgettable. I’d probably have prefered the crazy cagematch, but it is what it is. I hope that since they didn’t do it here, they might be holding onto it for a more exciting cage match with bigger names. Camorra in this match was absolutely shite, but I thought the other 3 all did good enough to save the match from being awful. Sounded like both Signo and Camorra got minorly injured here, which isn’t too surprising considering how poorly Camorra did nearly everything in this match. Yago/Signo won and hopefully this will help Yago take a step forward in his career. Akuma/Signo seemed to tease a singles feud after this, which could be a good way for Akuma to get his win back after losing his mask.   

Hijo de La Park, Volcano, Kraneo vs. Hijo del Villano III, Villano IV  & Felino

Who’s who?

Hijo de La Park looking like a skinny red/black La Park, Volcano in red and Kraneo in gold/black.

Villano’s in pink, with hijo being topless and Felino in black/orange.

How’s the match?

Great, as hyped as I was for Hijo del Villano III last week, he looked much better here. Park/Villano doesn’t have as much heat to it as Atlantis/Villano. Still it was a good tease for a feud we will hopefully get in 2019. I’ll be honest in that Villano IV is an old man wrestler and not that much of a highlight here, but at the same time he has been keeping to the wayside and letting his nephew be the star of these two matches thus far. I’ve not felt like he has been out of place yet and does what he needs to do. I hope the Villano duo continue to have matches like these first two, cause if they do I could see Hijo de Villano III becoming a star over the next year or two. 

Cuatrero, Forastero & Templario vs. Dragon Lee, Fenix & Pentagon

Cuatrero has white horseshoes on his gear, Forastero in gold & Templario has silver gear with a red cross on his mask.

Dragon Lee in white/black, Pentagon in black/red & Fenix in metallic looking pants/mask.

How’s the match?

Great, It’s nice to have Dragon Lee back and it’s even nicer to see CMLL have plans for him as we saw in the aftermath of this match. I don’t really get why Sanson is missing here, perhaps to protect full NGD from a loss, but more likely just because CMLL booked him in another arena somewhere. Fenix/Pentagon attacked Lee post match, which is exciting and hopefully means we get more of the Lucha Bros together in CMLL. I sorta question the tecnicos winning here though, feels like it’d make more sense for Dragon Lee to lose the match for his team and thus be jumped. Seemed a little questionable that Lucha Bros would attack him post match... for winning the match, but maybe I missed something?

Ultimo Guerrero vs. Caristico

Ultimo maskless & Caristico in white.

How’s the match?

Meh, I don’t mind this match being truncated, but it makes it hard to really praise it. Ultimo Guerrero and Caristico have matches going as far back as 2004 when they met in Gran Alternative. In the 14 years since both became big singles stars and have had classics... this isn’t one. Nothing wrong with that, but a disappointment for a main event of a show you aren’t just calling Super Friday.
