i also thought the psychiatrist character would serve more or less the same purpose as he did in the original aka “he’s there to tell susie about the witches” but all of these reviews describe his character as like.... someone who genuinely believes these women are delusional and that’s so interesting, i’m SO interested in the fact that this movie attaches a lot of moral and societal ambiguity to women and witchcraft and the patriarchy and sets it against the backdrop of this really. well idk if you could call post-wwii, divided, 1970s germany as anything short of a haunted country
