Here’s a fun story! Paul was giving a Best Man’s speech a few years ago and hired me to make puppet versions of him and the groom as kids, teens, and adults, and also adult versions of the bride and Megan. Flash forward a few years, Paul and Megan are having a baby! They ask me if I would make a baby puppet for the gender reveal... and I’d be the ONLY PERSON WHO KNEW THE SECRET!! I happily obliged. I made this baby boy puppet for them, and surprised them with more than we discussed. We talked about a baby wrapped in a blanket, but I made that blue blanket removable. Under it was a diaper, little muppet arms, and a toy airplane in the baby’s hand (Paul is a pilot). It was such a fun project. Today I watched their video of the big reveal and their surprise and delight brought tears to my eyes.
