UH….. SUCH A HARD ONE… I CAN DO MOVIES. THE REST ARE DIFFICULT.
Also, I am not including the Star Wars movies in this, because they have their own damn list.
5. Inception. (BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. But no really in all seriousness, it’s a kickass movie. A heist movie IN DREAMS. A heist movie where the heist goes WRONG. A tragic personal story to go along with it! THAT FUCKING ENDING. GAAAAAAAAAAH. THE REWATCH VALUE).
4. Iron Man. (A perfect example of the personal story and the main plot being intertwined. Also the dialog is so natural. I love it.)
3. The Prince of Egypt. (What can I say? Childhood favorite, and it wonderfully adapts one of my favorite books of the Bible. My favorite is Ecclesiastes but I don’t see them ever making an animated musical out of THAT one.)
2. The Dark Knight (A very special one for me. Amazing movie, first saw it in the theater with my dad, and it’s the first movie that got me interested in MOVIES. And every time I watch it I see something new. Also, I am always struck at how optimistic of a movie it really is.)
1. How to Train Your Dragon/Big Hero 6 (I could not choose between them after I saw BH6 so they share the #1 slot now. HTTYD is the movie I watch when I need to smile. BH6 I watch when I need to cry.)
