. A few weeks had gone by, and Fili had been out on a hunt. Of course there had been the periodic checking in. There had been the occasional phone call from his lover to let Ixto know that so far he was still alive. The worrying had been cut down to a minimum with the calls, but hadn't been gone completely.
With spring around the corner, Ixto had been busy venting most of his frustration into prepping his garden. He'd been able to keep his mind off of Fili, and the death that might come to him as a hunter. He no longer needed to worry, though, seeing his lover home and safe.
Ixto leaned down to press a gentle kiss to his temple. His fingers brushed over the soft golden hair before he pulled himself away.
"Rest well my dear, you deserve it," he purred.
"You can't be," Ixto spat. His mind strained over the image he saw before him; eyes as dark as hell's smoke and coals, malice, and ruin.
This was not what he had been searching for. This was not the man that he had lost so long ago. This was not Fili.
This was a demon.
Ixto felt his heart clench, and his mind draw blank with fear and heartbreak. He was not willing to accept that the twisted energy resonating from his man was the twisted energy of the one he loved. Amongst the sound of pain and suffering radiating off of the sound energy he was hearing, Ixto caught the familiar twang, and felt his heart fall.
"Fili, no."
UPDATE***
Hello, my lovelies! I'm going to be wandering off to a friend's house tonight, and so I'll be making replies to drafts and the messages I got (including the starters) if not randomly throughout the day, some time tomorrow! I love you all so much, see you then. ~Sincerely-Fili Mun
IMPORTANT UPDATE***
Hello, my pride and joys. First off, I wanted to say I love you all very much, and second, I was gonna give a heads up that I wont be on tomorrow (or not much, at least) or early Tuesday. I have to wander off for a business thingy, but I'll be back on the moment I get home (probably around noon on Tuesday, depending on where you live)! So no panicking while I'm gone, aye? Love you! ~Sincerely-Fili Mun

She never saw them coming.
Amoxtli was in the woods, resting after a hunt. It was more of a show for the young ones, showing the skill of more experienced hunter.
Their youngs were capable of hunting almost after birth but teaching them useful tricks and how to do it more efficiently was required for survival of as many children as possible. Neither of them were hers but all mature dragons were invested in the process of raising new generations. Especially since they were so rare.
She has send them home with caregivers and stayed by the river, watching the stars. Suddenly she smelled something. Sweet, curious. She went to investigate and the closer she got.... the harder it was to go back.
Her mind was as if in a haze, drawn to the scent, part of her brain - instinct - screamed at her to run, something was wrong, but it was muffled by the honey glazed poison. At some point she couldn't tell what was happening. Everything went dark. Or more precisely, her intoxicated mind failed to register.
When she woke up it was cold, she was alone and solid, wooden bars separated her from the outside world. She got herself kidnapped.
The constellations above her head were alien and when the wind blew she shivered.
This wasn't her home anymore. Where was she?
