Since We Fell by Dennis Lehane was one of the very first books I picked with @bookofthemonth And it’s been sitting on the shelf for about two years. I was familiar with several Lehane movies but had not read any novels (just a couple of short stories) This story was not what I expected at first. There’s a slow build to Rachel’s paranoia. A chance sighting and 💥 the story takes a turn and gets interesting. It is a slow burn, but worth sticking with. The audiobook is excellent.
