Picnic in the haunted forest, who's with me?!?!!!?
Closeups and progress pics under the cut!
Anyways. Probably shouldn't have put sinestea right in the middle if I wasn't gonna spend as much time on it.
Time to talk a lot abt my character I still haven't named tho bc that's my favourite thing to do!!!! Talk that is, not name characters.
Anyways, the story I'm going for is that they're very demure and just like their cute lil guys, their bird, and puppy, and teacup... just lil guys. Just tiny things. They don't battle very much, just preferring to spend time picnicking and leaening and living comfortably with their pokemon. And then. And then the love of their life(of course unrequited) expressed their admiration for Geeta, the top champion. So obviously, in a jealous rage, they complete the gym challenge as hastily as possible, levelling up their little guys but mostly relying on their (Charcadet until evolving it) Ceruledge. It's the one with the most battle craze, and the other guys are happy to let it do most of the work and vy for their trainers' attention and cuddles.
I've got lots written abt the kind of haze that clouds them and how the jealousy clouds their rationality and makes things a lot worse before things get better. Things abt how at first, their friend is supportive and excited for them to finally start battling, but then, seeing what it turns them into, she starts to get concerned and wants them to stop.
I think it's neat. I like jealousy as an emotion so much. I know it's a negative thing to feel, and taken to the extreme it's totally unhealthy and terrible. But this is fiction and I don't care. I like the different facets it can bring out in people, trying to regain the upper hand they think they lost, forcing them to prove themselves, becoming irrationally angry, possessive, destructive even.....
