Merry Christmas, everybody! Have some mistletoe kisses!
(Side note: I'm kicking myself for not giving Dixie curly hair before, it suits her much better.)
Do you think you could share the characters that inspired you to create Andrea, Cassie, Dixie and Isla? Sorta like how you did for Steff!
Sure!
Isla - Gloria Sato, Dez
Cassie and Andrea - Howard and Harold McBride
Dixie - Rachel Bighead, Sallie May
Jerry can do better
(Jimmy gets arrested)
Jerry: Wait, wait, wait! He's innocent! Mr. Crystal, please, I love you!
Suki: (walks up behind Jerry and pats his head) Trust me. You need better taste in men.
Dixie: Yeah, like we both have in women.
(she and Suki smugly saunter away, holding hands)
After moving away from the south to safely complete her transition, Dixie McEntire met Suki in Redshore City during her earliest days as a talent scout. One thing led to another and after a few years of dating, the two found themselves married. Compared to her work as a middle school teacher, Dixie knows how taxing her wife's own job and boss can be, sometimes needing to remind her to eat lunch. So Suki can always count on being greeted with a hot dinner and a warm hug whenever she gets home.
The minute I saw Suki in Sing 2, my first thought was "yep, she gay". Thanks to those massive lesbian vibes from her, I had a wife OC in the works for her for the longest time. And once again, seeing how we're still in Pride Month, I finally got around to completing her design.
Also yes, Dixie was Suki's original name during production of Sing 2 which I thought was really pretty, so I decided to use it.
