more rent-free headcanons of my favorite ship in the sing franchise that live in the corners of my "tiny teenage mind":

ryan and johnny: *actively making out on the couch*

ryan: *falls off the couch with a yelp*

johnny: *bursts out laughing* oh my god, babe, are you okay?

ryan: did it hurt?

johnny: *rolls eyes cutely* let me guess, when I fell from heaven?

ryan: no.

johnny: what?

ryan: *grins evilly* did it hurt when you fell for me—

johnny: *flushes red and pouts* i hate you.

johnny: *struggling to retrieve something from the kitchen cupboard because he's short*

ryan: do you want me to get it for you?

johnny: *gasps dramatically* HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE VERTICALLY CHALLENGED—

ryan: lol okay—

johnny (ten seconds later): *sighs in defeat* help meee...

- ryan tells horrible puns and johnny groans every time he says one (but johnny will never admit that he secretly thinks they're funny).

- they had been keeping their relationship a secret for a while before ryan accidentally kissed johnny at a massive theater family night-out in front of everybody.

- "well, it's about damn time you two got together!"

- it takes a ton of convincing from ryan to have johnny tell them about their relationship to johnny's dad.

- he's scared that he won't be accepting about the whole "i'm bisexual" thing and "i'm dating a guy" thing.

- "dad, this is ryan, you know him. and ryan... is my boyfriend."

- "... yeah, i know."

- "w-wait, what? what do you mean you know?"

- "i know when i see a bisexual, johnny."

- "wOt—"

johnny's excuses for getting ryan to hold his hand:

johnny: hey, my hands are cold, can you warm them up for me?

johnny: look, look, see? my hands are bigger than yours, put them together—

johnny: hey, i just learned how to read palms. give me your hand.

johnny: just shut it and hold my hand, okay?

ryan: *yawns*

johnny: yeah, being pretty must be tiring.

ryan: *tilts his head* then you must be exhausted.

johnny: *blushes furiously*

- sometimes johnny will be up late working on a new song or new choreographed dance.

- ryan comes up from behind him with johnny's favorite cup of tea, kisses him on the head, and wishes him a good night.

- johnny borrows ryan's sweater and goes out wearing it only to find ryan's ipods still inside the massive pockets.

- out of curiosity he decides to go through ryan's selection of music when he finds a playlist titled with johnny's name.

- being main performers such a popular, sensational musical is bound to have them be sent hate tweets.

- they never hurt like they're supposed and both johnny and ryan find them funny.

- so sometimes when they're really bored they scroll through hate/mean tweets and laugh about them.

- when they're really, really bored they'll reply.

With how much abusive crap she went through, somebody better get this wolf some adoption papers to give to Buster. She deserves a supportive and encouraging dad.

And maybe give her a girlfriend too, for extra happiness.

Can we some Johnny headcanons? 🛹💙

Hi! Sorry it took some time. I was a little bit busy with some other things, but here are some headcanons for our fav boy <3

- Johnny had little time to spend outside his father's business, so he had a small number of friends his age (which sucks because he is so kind). He was a bit hesitant to hugs and affection at first, but he really grew into it

- Johnny's mother passed away when he was younger, and his dad really never got over that (which made him turn to crime). However, Johnny struggled for a while too, which is the main reason why he hadn't played the piano since he was a kid. It reminded him too much of her

- He has called Rosita 'mom', and he was so embarrassed about it at first, but now he does it casually

- Johnny is prone to pulling faces when people annoy him. You won't believe the number of faces he has pulled behind Mike's back

- He is banned from the kitchen. BANNED

- His first kiss was with a dude (because he is a bi king), and he once wore pink or "feminine" things for a really long time in kindergarten bcuz some douche said that boys can't be girly (as he should)

- Johnny has really never yelled at anyone, he gets annoyed and is a little irritable, but he has yet to genuinely scream at anyone (lovely boy TOT)

- The dude loves true crime and mystery shows, but now he has become even more paranoid due to that stuff

- He believes in ghosts and supernatural things. Fortunately, Meena also loves scary things (WHAT A TWIST). They are kinda like Buzzfeed unsolved, except Johnny has NO LOGICAL IDEAS

Johnny: a ghost did it

Meena: no

Johnny: yes

Meena: there are no haunted houses or cemeteries in our area

Johnny: ghosts can fly

Meena: ... You have a point

- He and Ash tease each other a lot, but in a sweet way 

“I will punch you in the face, gimme my phone pretty boi” 

“If you punch me, I will swallow your hand 😊"

- He acts like a child sometimes. He does things like picking up dandelions to blow them or nagging people to go get ice cream

- the dude loves laser tag so much, AND HE IS SO INTENSE ABT IT. He does rolls and dives and is consistently inviting people to go and do it

- HE DRIVeS SO FAST AND IT MAKES EVERYONE GO CRAZY (Ash and Buster just get flung to the other side of the car when he drives)

- HIS VOICE CRACKS comically when he is stressed out or trying to diffuse a stressful situation

- Johnny's sleep schedule is out of wack. Some days he sleeps at 4am, and then on others, it's 8:30. However, he insists on doing a facial and hair routine every morning

- He loves thunderstorms and mystery novels!!

- Johnny is an atrocious dancer, and his signature move was the lawnmower (which is ironic because Buster makes him dance in the second movie, and he is fantastic)

- Human! Johnny headcanon: He keeps wrist bands on his arm for the girls (sweet boy)

Some adorable new headcanons for everyone's favorite theater family

-To make Porsha feel more welcome among the others, Buster asks her what she'd like to do to help bond with them and she suggests something she never had a chance to do; Have a sleepover!

Gunter is immediately on board, rattling off things they can do (ghost stories, binging on snacks, pillow fights) Rosita and Miss Crawly are on snack detail, Ash puts together an awesome Playlist. Naturally hijinks will ensue.

-Gunter gives Meena a book that has copies of recipes for special baked goods from his mother and several other relatives. When Meena asks, Gunter confides that every single one is a secret family recipe, but he knows he can trust Meena with them. After all, they're both part of the theater family now, right? This of course causes Meena to tear up and promise she'll treasure the gift. And of course make use of one of the recipes to bring to her theater family.

-If Miss Crawly was the grandmother of the theater group, Clay without a doubt becomes the grandfather of the gang.

-The first time Nooshy met Lance was when the latter was outside the theater, trying to talk Ash into taking him back. After which time, Nooshy warned if she ever saw him again, she'd literally scratch his eyes out.

Sing Headcanon

Ash has a tendency to forget to turn off her phone or put it on silent. It’s constantly going off during practice and interrupting her friends’ performances. She’s always apologetic and sheepish, but still never remembers to switch it off. Buster decides to have a talk with her about professionalism and such, but Mike cuts in, saying he has a better idea. Against his better judgement, Buster agrees to let Mike handle it.

So at the next rehearsal Ash is prepping her guitar and Mike casually walks up to her and asks, “Seen your cell lately?”

Instantly suspicious Ash rushes to get her bag from her rehearsing space and discovers her phone is in fact missing. She demands to know where it is and Mike points out at the sea of theater seats.

“Taped beneath one of those chairs. Have fun, Spikes.”

There’s a lot of yelling and some swearing (which is reprimanded by Buster and Rosita) before Ash furiously begins a long tedious search. She knows there’s no point in trying to call her number because Mike would never make it that easy. She wonders if Mike is messing with her and asks his girlfriend, but Nancy confirms (with some disapproval) that he’s not, and Mike would never lie to her.

Everyone watches in amusement as Ash crawls along the floor, searching beneath the seats, muttering under her breath and getting her quills caught. She’s at it for a good hour or two before she admits defeat. She gives everyone a sincere, proper apology, vowing to keep it on silent during performances from now on.

Satisfied, Mike points out where her phone is. Ash can’t believe the hot-headed mouse is the one who taught her a lesson and it’s a subject of much teasing for the next while.

Because I’m trying to add something new to this Sing fandom, have another Sing headcanon. Or small ones that make for one large one

- Ash and Lance met each other as late middle schoolers/early high schoolers outside of the principal’s office. Lance had (stupidly) started a fight with a rhino and Ash was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

- The 2 started hanging out more after finding out they have similar tastes in bands and actually shared a lot of classes.

- Lance became Ash’s first real best friend, since she normally stayed away from animals due to how easy her quills shed (which goes into another headcanon from @givebackandlivehappy’s account that Ash’s shedding and quill firing is a medical condition)

- Lance was the one who taught Ash guitar and gave her her classic red guitar (which was an old spare he owned). Ash had been a metalhead for a while, but never actually owned a guitar of her own.

- Ash and Lance are high school dropouts. When they met, they were really slacking academically speaking, and barely made it into high school. There could be a number of reasons why; they never understood the material the way it was taught, one (or both) of them had some kind of learning disability that none of their families caught onto, they just didn’t put in any effort or had any reason to try. Whatever the reason, they were failing and majorly. Eventually, they just dropped out as sophomores/juniors to try and make it big (or have Lance make it big with his backup vocals)

- Lance’s family is rather poor, and his parents were always too busy working to really pay attention to their son. Heck, they didn’t even know he dropped out until years later when at high school graduation, his name wasn’t called.

- Ash’s parents were the ones that bought their apartment with the lease under their name, only with the request that she and Lance pay half of the rent.

- The 2 made money off of any gigs they could land and small menial jobs (since they weren’t in school and didn’t have high school diplomas to get actual part-time jobs). If they failed to land any gigs, it would more affect Ash than Lance since most of the time, they would fail once she got carried away.

- Lance secretly made extra money by doing gigs with Becky (he had been cheating on Ash for a while before she found out) at places that he and Ash would have been rejected from. When Ash found, it kind of damaged her self esteem a little bit (it wasn’t completely destroyed because the theater fam helped her, but the news still gives her a bit of self doubt on her playing abilities).

That’s all I got so far. And all of it just came from the simple headcanon of “Ash and Lance are high school dropouts”.

Headcanon that Mike uses old timey insults and insulting phrases in general on everyone since he’s an old soul (probably), and 99% of the time they don’t know what it means.

Ex) Minkin, Poltroon, Wrinkler, etc
