GET ABSOLUTELY SHRIMPED!!!

So, I finally posted the first chapter to a little Thorin-centered fic I've been sitting on like Smaug on gold for the last week and a half. Granted this isn't a Bagginshield story, it's pre-canon. But, given that this stars everyone's favorite Dwarf king, I was hoping this would be allowed here. This one shows Thorin shifting from the prince we saw in Erebor to the jaded and brooding king in exile we all know and love.

So, I finally got around to posting the first chapter of my first Hobbit fanfic starring everyone's favorite brooding dwarf king and his nephews. This takes place well before the events of the Quest, offering a glimpse into the earlier years of Fíli and Kíli’s childhood in the Blue Mountains and their bond with their uncle, and maybe a few glimpses of their bonds with the future members of the Company.

Hello, everyone. I'd like to ask that we all just take a moment from this crazy adventure we call life to wish a Happy Birthday to Mr. Richard Armitage, also known as the great Thorin Oakenshield of the Hobbit trilogy. I recently got back into these films after remembering how much I loved them when they came out. Particularly the Dwarves. Particularly Thorin. I know liberties were taken from the book to give us the film version of Thorin, but still. Happy birthday, Richard!
