So....

Here’s the synopsis of my life lately...

As you guys know I took on a position with a lot more responsibility and demands of my time. I am literally helping a Dr. build his clientele and everything from the ground up and while the experience has been amazing it’s been exhausting.

I let go of my front desk person because unfortunately she just wasn’t picking up the steps and how to of her daily job despite multiple trainings, detailed notes, etc... this was causing way too many back end issues and causing us money.

So I hired a new young lady to come in and work. She was the exact same age as I, had experience in the same field as the specialist we work for. For all accounts and purposes she seemed like a good fit.

I. Was. Wrong.

She didn’t like to come to work. Keep in mind we are only there three days a week at this time. The first weeks she tells me she has a upcoming vacation already paid for but got pushed back because of a issue with her mother she wasn’t planning on missing more than two working days. Okay no big deal just tell me what days when you finally get it rescheduled and I’ll add it to the calendar.

*addendum* when she did give me the dates it was for a week and half of work.*

Also keep in mind that while I function as the office manager I also will fill in for my employees for time off or emergencies, all I ask for is that if it is a planned outage that I get two weeks notice and a email with the dates so I can plan accordingly without any meetings and such.

The second week she hurts her ankle and the hospital supposedly tells her she can’t walk for a week. She never brings any proof of this but coming in with a brace she could find and buy online and a intermittent limp lol she shorted her time out for two days and so I didn’t press it but day two after she comes back she is over two hours late (swears she has car issues).

*addendum* She asked for the next working day off without any notice and I told her no because the turn around time was too short and I had various meetings and things to get done not including finishing her training.*

Sooooo then she lies about being exposed to COVID so she can take a trip to Miami with her friends.

How do I know that you may ask?

Let’s just say I could be a private investigator if I wanted.

Word to the working folk out there make sure your boss can’t find your Instagram or social media and also don’t leave your personal email logged in on a work computer on company time after the fact either*

But I still never treated her claims as fake even when she lies and says they wanted to charge her for her COVID test (they are free in the U.S) and have had to wait to go get tested, then lied about actually having went to have the test to present me with results that had her actual appointment date on it. (Even more proof she was lying) It was the day after she told me she’d already had it.

Then proceeded to refuse to come to work the next working day after she got those results which is insubordination.

Long story short there are so many details that the post could go for days but it’s was a stupid time wasting situation and she had to be let go as well. So now I am running the front desk.

Then my back office has to be rushed into emergency Surgery so now I am running both front and back. And in the midst of all this I ended getting a 7 month old puppy with a heterochromia where one eye is blue and one was brown ( his name was Henry only in my mind, it’s really Nikko) and my original plan was to keep him but with everything going on and him not getting on to well with my original furbaby (11 year old Yorkie) we decided to turn it into a foster situation and he went to a friend of the family where he’s able to run around and play. He can really get the attention he deserves because he was really awesome, he was just being a puppy and it wasn’t fair to him.

However while he was here he chewed the cord to my MacBook and my cord just got here late Sunday so needless to say I will be posting sometime this week to make up for the lack of posting 🤦🏾‍♀️

Update:

I wish that you all could see and hear all of the b/s I’ve had to endure of the last month. How badly I wish to write, be more active and post. I have really put so much time and love into this blog and I cannot wait for that to continue. I have seen all of the love, comments and rebloggs and I have been so in awe and to be honest one of very few things I’ve had to keep me going in my everyday life.

I prayed for the opportunity to spread my wings and really step into management. For many years I’ve done the work without the title. I knew this would not be an easy journey and I for one felt as if I’ve rolled with the punches, but maybe you all can tell me that if you were constantly disrespected would you stay? During this process I learned that someone I thought was a friend had been jealous and playing me this entire time, and with me being the one to bring her on, she used this to her advantage. I made a decision to no longer to consider her as such and end that friendship because the betrayal just ran too deep.

Despite my hurt in the situation, I knew how to keep the business relationship. I’ve kept it business. I just don’t share my life anymore, I don’t go the extra mile to the point of exhaustion to help, I just focus on the tasks at hand.

Now it’s a issue. Now it’s long story short that I am being made responsible for the personal happiness of everyone in the office and being made to feel as if I should discount my own feelings, get behind in my own work to help the very same people who talk shit about me and disrespect me constantly.

I’m trying so hard to just hold my space and shut up being they are taking me there. All of this combined with health issues and summer courses as all but zapped my ability to have any motivation to write, but I promise I will be back. I hope that I will able to come back with some exciting and amazing content very soon.

Life may or may not be kicking my ass right now. It’s a needed ass kicking but a ass kicking none the less.

I am determined however to get the next Chapter of Ruin Me edited and posted. Followed by the next chapter of Midnight.

Plus a fic that I will be holding close to the chest until I get it finished will hopefully allow me to write it...

But I feel like I should be posting fluff somewhere in all this angst, smut and chaos lol

Open Post:

I woke up light today. I woke up feeling amazing because it’s been the first time in a long time that I’ve been okay with where I am at. I spent time worrying about so much of the wrong things. Worry about how people felt about me, why I was (currently am) being treated by people who clearly have no regard for me. I allowed myself to feel terrible and useless off of strength of what jealous/miserable people think of me. How they have waited for me to fail and I have doubted myself. Being called bitter or selfish for wanting more.

I used to feel awful.

BUT

I realized that I was being stupid.

I am BLESSED.

I am astoundingly blessed.

Wow.

I’ve spent this last week looking back and it just hit me today.

I can’t care. I can’t give a flip anymore.

Everyone is not worthy of the love and space I am capable of giving. And I had been giving to the wrong people. Sad but true.

Today is where I take that back and I say THANK YOU LORD.

Thank you for removing people, places and things that no longer serve me and thank you for blessing me in being able to see the difference.

I have a new job folks! It’s a opportunity where I am finally the manager. I get to build the policies, the team, I got my own office and everything! I am excited because I get the chance to actually grow.

Meanwhile: Tomorrow is my last day and none of these people here are even sad. I expect they will play ding-dong- the witch is dead when I leave. Like I actually did anything to them but try to help. It’s astonishing how much people show you how much they actually don’t give af about you.

Eh, it’s time spent because I got to learn new skills and grow. Now they loose all my knowledge and I get to help someone else and actually have a chance at being happy.

Hey!

So I did some blocking of some folks who have made it painfully clear you don’t want to see smut.( like you are 12 and can’t manage computer functionality)

The minute I get flagged I probably will cry so idk I better take precautions right?

I am going to give you exactly what you want. No smut of RP means also none of my character smut either (Clark Kent / Geralt/ August/ Walter etc.) So even if you wanted to see that from me you lose ALL of that too. You don’t get that work to tear down and criticize from a hateful place the moment I put a dom scene or a kink you don’t like in it. Nope.

Doesn’t mean I won’t write it! It just means if you can’t handle my RP smut then you can’t handle my character either...

As it stands I will be:

Working on some requests.

Go chill with a tall glass of idgaf

Cuddle with my puppy (he’s 11 but he will always be my puppy)

Try not to be more angry than the people who actually got flagged (because what right do I have to be more mad than them, especially when it seems almost fixed already.)

I swear y’all I have been actively working on writingi promise I have seen every post, comment, like and reblog and trust me it’s making my day. Life has just been kicking my ass. Between work drama, school and my own personal emotions I haven’t been able to get to writing like I wanted to but this week should be the turning point
