They’re here!! Just about six months ago I asked @snowiestgorgon17 to watch our lone guinea Reese (whom I had adopted on the premise was a girl but turned out to be a boy, leaving me even more outnumbered as the only female in the house). Several weeks later, Sarah adopted a single male guinea. Around mid-October she mentioned wanting another male so he would have a buddy, so when another of my friends, (also a Sarah) found herself with unexpected baby guineas that she was told were all male, we each adopted one. We each observed some *dominant* behavior from our original guineas but took it as just that. Then Sarah went back and got the third sibling which had not been adopted. Three seemed fun. Until it turned out one was a sister, not a mister! Just after Christmas, they had three babies. And on that day I realized our Oreo was getting peculiarly plump around the rump. She just yesterday gave her little nieces and nephews some cousins! 😳😆🤣 So if you or anyone you know are interested in caring for a cute cuddly pet a step or two above a goldfish, let me know!! We have no desire to make this an ongoing experiment, despite how incredibly cute and mind-blowingly amazing baby guineas are❤️ #sillysinghmamma #sillysinghdaddy #singhingguineas https://www.instagram.com/p/CYzXYrPO47X/?utm_medium=tumblr
