An Elf in the Hidden Leaf

The last few things Sasha remembers before being thrown back away from her charter members was her screaming. “Run you bastards, their magics are clashing against each other. Move your arses NOW!!!” She had felt the heaviness of the two mages’ magics as they begun casting and weaving their spells. She had turned to run, dashing through the trees and the underbrush only to be caught and tossed around in maelstrom of rain, leaves and branches. Her vision blurred due to a branch connecting with her head.
Moments later Sasha hits the ground on her rear end in a lush bed of ferns, her vision still fuzzy as her vision rights itself slowly from her healing ability, pulling from nature around her. It was very unfamiliar the energy she was drawing to her but it would suffice. Scraping of metal echoed throughout the forest as she pulled her swords from the scabbards attached to the back of her belts. Her copper tresses full of twigs and leaves looking like a bird’s nest, she calls out the names of her comrades, “ Dav, Hale, Phiefer, Johanas, you bastards answer me.” When there was no answer, her hopes of finding them lessened. “Damn you all, you better be alright, if I find you dead I will find a way to bring you back just to beat the hell out you.”
Sasha eyesight returns to normal after what seemed about thirty minutes, her sword still drawn and standing in an offensive manner prepared for anything. Her pointed tips of her ears twitch listening for any sounds out of the ordinary for a forest, even though it was unknown to her. She begins to move out of the fern patch, squatting down she places her fingertips to the ground to get the feel of the forest’s energy better and in a way the lay of the land. She let her own energy mingle with nature’s energy of this forest, first searching for a viable water source, next the amount of fauna and flora. Water and food were going to be two main priorities then finding shelter before the sun set.
The rays of the sun filtered through the leaves of the tree, being the brightest right above Sasha signaling that she had a good five to six hours hopefully before the sunset. Her satchel on her back had remained intact, which she was glad of but still she didn’t have much in way of clothes. She had left most of her other supplies back in the last village planning on returning once the mission was over, “May the forest creatures feast on the body of that blathering cockled piece of ogre filth of a mage.” She was not happy that she had been separated from her charter members she has spent over twenty years of her life with, through hardships and the good moments.
Sasha stands heading to the river first to fill her canteens with water, a faint smile hints at the corners of her lips as she spies large fish swimming. “At least I won’t starve.” It would seem strange to any that happened upon her talking to herself, but with forest being alive everything heard you and answered back in it own way for her to understand. The perks of being a wood elf. Sheathing her swords, then pulling her bow over her shoulder, reaching behind her to grab three arrows from her quiver. In quick succession notching them in her bow using her hand as a guide to aim her shots, pulling back the string letting them penetrate the surface ot the water hitting her targets. She moves into the water to retrieve her kills and her arrows.
Sasha proceeded to shore grabbing a dirk she kept in her satchel to begin cleaning her soon to be meal. Once they had been gutted and the heads removed she wraps them into a tarp for the time being. She next looked for tinder and dry wood to make a fire, making a small tent out of fresh leaves above the fire several feet to filter the smoke a bit. Once she finished setting that up close to the river, she set the fish on the y-sticks to hold them so they were secure over the fire only a foot above. As she waited she began to pluck the twigs and leaves out of her long copper strands then brushed the tangles out braiding it and tying the end with a leather thong.
Sasha ate her meal when it had finished cooking, she found shelter in a high tree where she could feel and see anyone approach so she could make her escape if it was needed, This behavior continues over the course of a few days as she acclimated herself to this new environment. Hoping eventually that she may meet someone who could tell her where in the hell she was.
