#Repost @ultrasaucy ・・・ 7am party on the track! This evening I'm recovering from the 24 hr race in Auburn hosted by Singletrack Running. No I did not run. Yes I danced. Pretty sure I could make ultra dancing a thing. I'm not a fan of the track myself, but I will tell you. It was an amazing thing to watch every single runner endure their journey, whether it was 12 miles, 70, or 120. I got to be part of every quarter mile with them either heckling them about a gnarly technical section at mile 24, doling out the hugs, or just plain cheering them on with the aptly termed "lap" dance. They earned every quarter mile of their achievements and I'm pretty humbled to be witness to their struggles last night - and there were some struggles, both physically as well as mentally. I had a hard time taking that three hour dance "rest" at 4am knowing that every single set of feet that ran by my spent carcass passed out on the purple couch was relentlessly carrying on and moving forward. Cheers to all those badass track runnin motherfuckers! I don't think I could do what you just did. #singletrackrunning #badass24hourtrackrunners #thanksfornotfiringthedj #wheresmyvoice (at Sunshine Endurance Coaching)
