Restless

Have you ever been tired? Like so tired you can’t think straight? So tired that doing anything beyond laying down becomes of labor of which Hercules could count among his 12? Have you ever been that tired, and not be able to fall asleep? Thats the only way I can begin to describe where I am. That feeling of exhaustion, magnified by the helplessness of laying there begging for relief, and yet awake you remain. That feeling of needing something, something right in from of you, something so close you can taste it in the air as you breathe, and it remains just out of reach. I’m tired. I’m sore. I’m laying in the dark, Reaching for dreamland. But I’m stuck here. I’m still awake. My eyes locked in an eternal staring contest with the ceiling. I’m still here. Still waiting. I’ve just become so very restless.
