Juliet Burke, Lost.
These are like days old (months in tumblr-time) but I'm just feeling the need to fill them out, finally.
How I feel about this character: I love Juliet. Simply adore. She was second favourite LOST character after Desmond. Her arc is so interesting and compelling and while it gets connected to others character is about centered around her and her determination to get of this island. I loved how practically from the first moment we see her in that room with Jack it's about how she's working her away around and through these people to get off this island which she sees as her cage. The way we're introduced to her we can see that even around the Others she's separate from them--solitary in the group and even when she's introduced to the Losties at first she's again separate but unlike with the Others within the Losties while they never fully trust her she ends up having more personal connections with them (this is also probably because what we do see of her in her flashbacks on the island the show draws her as outside within the circle of Others even though she seems well like by most). I also find her place within the group dynamics of the Others and Survivors so interesting. She's the Healer within both groups but she's in a place that makes her type of healing almost impossible, but she still never stops trying (see: Claire and Sun, then later with Amy). There's a lot more I can say but man, I'm tired.
Basically: I love Juliet Burke. I think she's has a cool compassion that was honed in the island because she had to adapt to survive in this place and the person she was before in Miami wouldn't have lasted long in this place. So she hardened herself, but she never lost that compassionate core that was connected to Rachel and her work. IDK if that makes sense. Words man.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Desmond and in a different world Kate.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I stan the ground she walks on. I think her choice to stay on the island wasn't ooc when you understand the Left Behinders arch and everything that happened after that boat exploded.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: HAD MORE SCENES WITH DESMOND. I love everything that happened with her but I do wish she had gotten off the island.
