A Cappella supergroup Level, was one of the highlights at SingStrong Chicago.. Level features several sing-off alums (Rachel Saltzman, Allie Feder and Kenton Chen from Season 2′s The Backbeats, Mario Jose from Season 2′s Pitch Slapped) As well as master a cappella arrangers Robert Dietz and Ben Bram. Sing Strong D.C. 2015: Steal My Girl performed by The Melodores
Hi guys! So some of you may know, I sing in an a capella group here in Boston. As my friend Dylan says:
"We’ve been invited to attend Sing Strong, a 3-day a cappella festival in Washington DC, and participate in their competition, “Aca-Idol.”
This is an incredible opportunity for our group to improve our skills, network with some important people, and participate in such a fun experience. In order to attend, we must raise the money to participate, and as you may expect from the typical group made up of mainly college students, we are unable to cover the costs out of pocket.
That’s where you come in! We kindly ask you to donate any amount you are able to. Every single dollar really does count. Any money raised will go towards tickets to the festival, transportation costs, and the cost of our hotel stay.
As mentioned before, this is a huge opportunity for the development of this group, and we’d hate to pass it up because of a lack of funds. Even if you can only give a dollar or two, any contribution is greatly appreciated."
