Your tags of the trans headcanon post reminded me how I used to avoid trans fanfics. Not because i was transphobic (im nb), but a lot of people made it weird and fetishy (and a lot do it for nsfw purposes only). So i second what ya said! Its okay to have hc if you arent trans, but leave the Being Trans stories to those who are.

i totally forgot to answer to this BUT!! i def agree- and while i dont mind nsfw fics that include trans people (and can rlly enjoy them sometimes), sometimes u can feel how Cis the person writing it is + the problem is that its basically ALL you find when looking for trans fics.....

my insight and complex understanding of gender n sexuality n romance n intimacy……. like sometimes its tough to think about but cis people will Never know those topics in the personal way i do. its a comforting thing sometimes
