Remmick forcefully baptizing Sammie.
Stack got sense he just an asshole😕
Me explaining how I love the character of remmick and that he's my cutie patootie and he's a very well written character that has alotta lore and GAH DAYUMMMM HES SO FINEEE - while also acknowledging that he's a metaphor for the exploitation and gentrification of black culture and that he VERY WELL deserved to die!1!1!1!1!
A real remmick fan always speaks ill of remmick
love the part where everyone took turns beating the shit out of him in creative ways 😂
Oh my- I didn’t get that at first, but seeing the scene explained definitely foreshadowed Smoke saving Sammie from Remmick.
I knew the snake was symbolic just didn’t put these two things together.
EDIT: we didn’t see as much, but it’s implied Stack helps Smoke save Sammie from Remmick too. So him tossing the knife here is him giving the wooden stake to Smoke and Smoke letting Stack live, etc. I’m sure the screenplay may explain that.. right? Idk, we’ll see.
I kinda see him standing between Sammie and the Snake as him having half a mind to do the right thing, even under the control of Remmick.
Like the hypnosis snake thing or whatever?
Hopefully somebody knows what I mean.
thesis of the entire movie btw
