There was a frustrated growl. She was right, he knows that. Was he happy about it? No of course not. Again and again, why does that always happen? He is pretty sure the others can endure so much more.

It isn't. but it had to be. He was a hero in training. It didn't matter, he will endure it and continue. He wasn't on the edge of passing out - it will be fine.

It was said quietly though because, despite his protesting and mild discomfort, she looked tired and he didn’t want to wake her all that much. While he wasn’t as comfortable with her as he was with Mirio yet, she was one of the few he could count on hand he’d let get away with using him as a pillow. 

He sighed softly and tried not to move, going back to his studying. He could catch her up when she woke up.

“I think Mirio would be upset if we all didn’t make some time for each other. One day a month to see each other and catch up, just us three. I think…I think that would work.” He’d text Mirio about it later, let him know that they had a plan. “It’s a great idea Hado.”

“Hm?” His head tilted in thought. They’d both be official heroes and would have plenty to do so they wouldn’t see each other every day like they did now but it wasn’t like they were going to be countries apart. 

“We won’t be too far from each other…we could…all meet up on our days off…”

“And your questions don’t give me panic attacks anymore.” Something he learned to quickly get over because his friend liked to ask questions when she was curious and he did want to answer the questions he was able to. Now he could. Taking a final sip of his coffee, he held on to the cup to keep his hands busy.

“We have come a long way since first year. I don’t…hide in the hallway whenever there’s an oral presentation anymore.” Then again, a lot of the teachers were nice enough to let him type up his presentation and hand that in over presenting it.

“I’ve tried turtle. They’re not that good but I do eat clams. And clams have shells.” He mused a little, joining in on the joke while he had the chance too. Fat Gum did praise him a lot and he saw it as poking fun because he did it too often. He was still getting used to the praise. 

There was a little shake of his head, keeping an eye on the sidewalk ahead of him and behind her, so she wouldn’t have to worry as much. “True but I also hear of your good work. She knows that keeping you with her agency is a smart thing to do because you tidy up villains quick and with little collateral damage.”
