Katsu knew that he was already putting his career and reputation at risk by having this kind of relationship with Akira. One small slip up and things would never be the same for him. Someone else would only have to suspect that Katsu was being a bit more than friendly with Akira to get the rumors going. Eventually, it would snowball and out Katsu as gay even if nobody saw them hugging and kissing. Getting into fights and other delinquent acts were already risky behavior, but they would only be a fraction as destructive as being exposed doing this.

Even though Katsu was a risk taker, he knew how sensitive this was and how it could ruin the only thing he found joy in. The rational part of his brain screamed at him to break this off or set some boundaries. Yet that voice was frequently ignored; once Katsu discovered his passion for the Phantom Thief, he could not stop himself.
