Oh absolutely. Charles has a lot of issues and disorders that it seems like are avoided. He's only ever been pushed aside and/or effectively abandoned his entire life. His father's death/suicide, his mother's lack of care, his abusive step family, and the only people who seemingly cared about him leaving for everything that he disagrees with. It's painfully aparent with the purpouse that he's given himself that he never wants anyone to feel the way he has if he can help.
