Strange Blood
There are strange unknown histories in your blood. For instance this week you’ll inherit a baronetcy by a birthright you didn’t know existed. The title comes with a grand English Manor complete with misty green country scenes, arrogant valets, a haunted attic, beautiful heiresses, a zombie curse, old army colonels and enough behind-closed-doors domestic gossip to kill a horse. But pretty much everyone says you’re top hole for gentry, and defers to you and springs whenever you ring the bell. And then a murder! Someone’s uncle’s been found missing his brains. So much intrigue across so much class strata. Even the maids have secret names. Whoever thought Edwardian Britain could be so fun? And nearly everyone has motives to kill the uncle, and yet sound alibies…an idiot policeman asks was it you. Huge indignation. But then guilt, complicity. You might have known your arrival would get someone’s uncle’s brains eaten. Only then is it revealed in a letter that your strange blood possesses too a maybe-gay Indian: a fancy free Sioux Warrior Chief that you never knew was your ancestor. The scandal nearly burns the house down. And then: the zombies return finally from their vacation in the Lake District. Death and destruction generally.
