Tequileño Especial Añejo a superb tasting añejo with notes of caramel, vanilla and nutmeg that is smooth yet complex, a must have in any tequila collection.

This is one of the best Añejo I have tried in a long time and an incredible flavor with hints of oak, caramel, vanill and cinnamon.

Don Julio 1942 celebrates their 65+ year commitment to excellence with this remarkable premium Añejo tequila.  Artisans cultivate and craft Don Julio 1942 for 2 or more years and by adding a second distillation in a special still known as Pot Still 6 to further refine the flavor. 

The sleek, brown bottle invokes reverie and intrigue.  The bright amber color looks rich and pure.  The sweet and distinct aroma enhances the experience.  You may notice hints of sweet berries, vanilla, rich wood, nuts, braised citrus, and agave.  Medium-thick legs remind you have a special tequila. 

Wood, spice, and light fruit complement each other to create a remarkable first impression.  You will not find many tequila in this price range with such complexity and smoothness.  The smooth agave, spice, and fruit finish lingers for several moments.
