The SIPRI conference started on 14th May. I was invited to two interactive and exciting panels about intersectional responses to peacebuilding. It was an interesting mix of policy, activist and academic minded folks, unlike much of the conferences I’ve attended which are primarily academic focused.
Us vegans had our own ‘special dietary’ section. I certainly was not alone at the vegan tray!
Stockholm also had vegan advertisements all over the city, just like London. One of my faves was for this Magnum vegan ice cream, I definitely tried some and got a couple of boxes during my stay. They have them in Belfast too so I’ve been able to continue to enjoy them:
