it's not a confession but i wanted to know if it's only me who thought that. in response to the last baek conf. there was a part "not even chen was laughing" and in my mind appeared that thing immediately: and chen is what? immature kid who laugh at those kind of things? i see him as one of the most mature members and to be honest it hurt me a little to read that cause that sentence sounded to me like telling chen is always laughing at everything and it's not true! what do you think, admin(s)?

Hi :) I’m really flattered that you’re asking for my opinion, hehe. Unfortunately, it’s only me (Char) right now, so I hope you’ll be satisfied with only one answer!

I think it’s because Chen has been known as a ‘troll’ within the fandom and maybe anon thought that Chen would also find it funny? After all, Baekhyun and Chen are pretty close (it definitely showed in EXOST). In any case, I think the anon wasn’t implying anything negative about Chen, but just further proving a point (that is, that joking about Kris missing his mom was over the top). 

In my opinion, Chen is one of the more mature members, but he can also be a little silly/funny at times, too! I think the best example I can think off the top of my head right now is that episode of EXOST where they enter the haunted house. Chen was planning on scaring Tao when he exits but then changes his mind once he sees how scared Tao was.

Chen likes pulling pranks and making jokes, but he knows when to draw the line. Maybe anon was also thinking of this, but perhaps the words didn’t carry in their confession.
