hellloooo my soul has been recently consumed by waltokov and I was wondering which production has your favorite version of Soviet Machine and which production (in your opinion) leans the most into waltokov?? (I just saw chevival live and I'm working my way through watching other versions)

HELLOOOOOO HIIII OMG. so. yes. my favorite soviet machine is probably the chess in concert one or the chrevival one, but if you haven't seen anything based on the original broadway you HAVE to. there's a song called let's work together that's walter and molokov's duet and it is GREAT. when i went to the nypl to watch the tape of og bway i rewound and watched that song multiple times - but it's also in the bootlegs + in other bway variants like 1990 us tour and 1990 long beach. i'd say the prod that leans the most into waltokov is sydney (which also has let's work together) . not to spoil but there is a hug. og bway also (if you live in my beautiful mind) does but less... i don't really care for london and its variants as much but i don't think it really leans into waltokov very much aside from the fact that london INVENTED walter to mirror molokov with is like meta levels of gay... thank you so much btw!! i love writing waltokov + i'm glad people enjoy it ^_^ they're quite literally my passion my otp my everythingggg
